I keep having these nightmares of people close to me getting possesed and taken by a demon its different people but the same demon, i'm trying to figure out what they mean.

How often do you think about demons in a non-dream setting? I feel like it could be one of those things: if you think about it too much while you're awake, you think about it while you're sleeping, too. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but that's just my opinion. I'll wait on other peoples' responses.

I was thinking that but its the same demon in each dream just different, that's the only problem. I've had nightmares like this before but not this bad.

maybe its one of those warning dreams and the demon symbolizes something bad in your life- something like a future decision that you'll make or are making thats gonna or is negatively effecting people around you ? i mean u didn't mention anything physical happening to you and its just the same dream over and over again.

well thats just make take on it, its sort of similar to my mom's cruiseline job deal, she wants it and by interpreting her repetitive dreams, they meant that she was close to getting that job but not exactly there yet bc she wasn't doing something right to obtainning it.

So you should rethink what you're doing in your life now and maybe make a change.

the meaning of the dream means something connected to the other world......its something like fear of death or unknown (fear of occult maybe)...the people you see are trying to give you a message....the possession means fear of someone getting hurt by you or what you do. (if you feel like its your fault that they get possessed)

so all in one it has something to do with obsession of something since it's the same demon.......

but i also think its just fear........(don't tell me you've made a salt circle around your bed....thats what i do)

i have a lot experience in dreams.....so if you're having them repeatedly......the problem may be getting worse.

but yeah as always this is just my Opinion.

I had occurring dreams when I was little of the same sort that lead to nothing. *shrug* Your imagination getting a hold of you and seeing as it's the same demon just means your brain has registered it as a scary figure and implanted in your mind only as such. No worries.

They are different dreams with the same type of out come and same villain but in two totally different settings. In the first one such was two weeks ago I had a dream that best friend became possessed and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't save her and she died then soon after I died, the second dream was last week I was in an old run down church with my older brother and some other people and these people kept preaching about the devil and I kept seeing pictures of him on the walls and then he manifested and took everybody including my brother but not me he then turned into the black dog and chased me until I woke up. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get my brother back, i've had dreams like this sence I was a kid but these are the only ones that I have had trouble solving. Last time I had a dream that someone close to me died in, anywhere from a month to several months later someone I knew would die without fail.

if a best friend appears in a dream it means something good but this is not your case.....i think that there is something wicked going on your brain......the thing that your best friend died due possession and than you dying soon after means something like....loss or regret.......its more like you being apart of something which is very important to you but not being far from it or something in that way....you couldn't save her because you didn't want to save her(don't think about this its just something that we can't easily control), and the thing with your brother is very familiar to me......a little bit too much familiar....

long time ago i had a similar dream........me and my little brother were going up a road which was around a castle like house made out of stones and there were these little church like windows....i heard strange voices coming out of them and my brother looked in and he got dragged in and disappeared , the next thing i know that i got chased by a black dog or more black dogs. (and i got to add that it was somewhere in the mountains and it was dark)..at that time i remember i was kinda angsty

the thing with black dog is that i don't know what the heck it means so i searched it....i cant say that its true or not....and.....read it yourself

the thing is that in my folklore....black dogs in dreams (as i asked my grandmother) mean very bad thing or death omens......(i dont want to freak you out it may or may not be like this)

i think something is warning you not to mess with it.........are you doing something that you shouldn't do.....or read ??

^ onepiece, dear, I would attempt to remove any supernatural causes to begin with. If you try to fix that which isn't broken, you end up messing it up anyway.

Nick, don't think about it too much. You're looking for a problem where it doesn't exist. Now, if this "demon," per say, manifests in a real situation outside of dreaming, then you have something to worry about. For the time being, if you're really in the need to do something to keep your mind at rest, keep a little packet of salt under your pillow.






Offshoot: I know it wouldn't do a THING to a real demonic entity, but since it's fairly obvious that it isn't one, this might just be the placebo effect Nick needs. (I'm only saying this so that I can clarify to folks who don't know my range of knowledge insofar as demonology is concerned).

Ok??? Not to be a prick or anything but you guys get offended real easily and argue alot. Like I said before in an older post you guys keep running people off like this means the less help your gonna have in the end when you'll need it.

Incidentally, if the comment about Swedish people was aimed at LG, I have to say that was INCREDIBLY rude, and that if you intend to be treated with politeness, you should show it.
@Nick it's because the goals of some of the more experienced posters here (not necessarily myself, as I am in no way as experienced as these folks) is to make sure people don't get involved with something they can't back out of. Easiest tactic? A good scare. If you can't deal with an internet yelling, Lord knows how you'll deal with other entities... haha.

Anyway, let's please get  . There's no need to get offended, IMHO. People are just giving advice and trying to help, if not enforce website rules. If you don't want to comply with rules, then don't become a part of a group.

May I also suggest you being more careful with the advices and interpretations you give? This far they've seemed to be more harmful than helpful to me.
