Ok, here goes... Past few days I've either been so drained, I sleep for 9+ hours or stay up for 2 days straight. Last night I could hardly stay awake, so I just went to bed earlier. I have a triquetra on my right shoulder that kept burning ( only does this when I'm going to have a bad night.), again, too tired to care. I'm in bed with the door closed, so the room is pitch black. Just as I get settled, I notice a tall, thin man standing next me with his closed hand over my face. After that, ( I'm guessing I passed out) I woke up on the floor in an old house that has lights on in every room but one.  I don't know what happened, but I ended up in that room with the doors locked and only moon light to see by. No matter how much I scream and bang against the doors, no sound escapes the room. I look around and notice I'm not alone. In the shadowed part, I see the man again.  Just as I was trying to wake up, he throws sand in my face. For a split second, I actually woke up, only to see this thing that looks like a pale wall standing at my door like a barricade. When I tried to get up, it felt like I was being shoved back down and forced back asleep. Once I'm back in the dark room, I'm held tight  and the man is smiling, like he's the happiest in the world. After what seems hours I manage to get out of the room and into a sitting room where an old woman and a little girl are. As I stand in front of the woman, she just shakes her head with a smile and says " Your folk never knew how to take a gift. Always fighting like you're at war. That's why we've been hiding, do you care? Who knows. You see us when you're awake, and give us grief in jest. But we show thanks and you run. You did no harm, true. But it's rude to refuse gifts from us, for they are rare." I just stood there, looking at my feet while apologizing. I explained that my fear of the dark led to my reaction and I hoped to not offend their hospitality again. When she offered me a drink, I asked her forgiveness as I never take food or drink in my dreams. She just smiled and nodded, then  told me to wake up. When I woke up, my door wasn't blocked and it was 3 am. Can some one please help me to understand what happened???

First sentence could be a sign of starting depression, at this time of the season if you're experiencing it may just be a seasonal affective disorder, usually  most common in places that have long winter nights and short days.  Pain in your arm will affect you, even if you're not aware of it, especially if you're that tired when you go to sleep. Now to the dream...which if they're keeping you up and you're not getting a solid sleep, that could be a source of you restlessness/sleepiness. You're sleeping but your body and mind aren't getting their rest. Now to the dream, at least my interpretation...

Any overpowering issues in you life that make you feel trapped and seem to be winning? When it comes to your dreams always start with your subconscious, it'll always pick up things you don't, sort of like an anti-virus.

Again, you're subconscious could be letting you know it is a resolvable issue, you have the "gifts" to fix it, but you're resisting your intuition. What do old women and young girls symbolize to you?

Again, could be your brain telling you to just deal with it, resolve it, stick to your guns and everything will be okay...

 

When I woke up, my door wasn't blocked and it was 3 am. Can some one please help me to understand what happened??? 

Ever wake up from a dream you're eating with your hand to your mouth, or hear a pounding in your dream, maybe from a hammer and wake up to someone knocking on your door? Dreams are funny like that, they talk to your brain, about your brain.  Ultimately it comes down to personal symbolism, what do the stand out aspects represent to you?

My example, zombie dreams let me know the problem i'm having is from past issues, a killer house by the lake appears when i'm having a lot of personal issues with people, the house kills them in strange and unusual ways...and alien dreams always result from some, emotional perplexity.  *shrugs

Just my experience analyzing my own dreams, they can have serious and deep spiritual meaning but it all comes down to your subconscious processing the information it's received through out the entire day, internal and external, dreams are sort of a disk clean up and defrag for your brain. 

Dreams are a fascinating subject...
