It seems like the astronomers have discovered a potentially life-sustaining planet in a solar system as close as 20 lightyears from our own.

Hmmm, the only way to colonize this planet, would be to build ships that carried self deploying construction units and cryogenic material for clones and growing facilities. Or ships that could support colonists for generations. Unless we can commandeer a ship with faster than light capabilities
