Character Bios (Cause without them, there is no story)

[Entoxica]

I thought I'd post up some character descriptions for the story I'm working on. I can't do too many major changes to Entoxica, cause I designed her so long ago that it's impossible for me to imagine her any other way. The others: maybe. But little changes only, really. CC please!

ENTOXICA

Appearance: Entoxica has long black hair, about down past her shoulders.. Her body is built to be broad and strong, but there is a beauty to it. Her eyes are large and violet, and she has long eyelashes. She stands at about 5'5", and is usually dressed in a long dress with slits up to about mid-thigh for leg movement. She always looks formal, and her face is almost always expressionless. The expressionless-face is a safe-guard against anyone who may be a threat, but she can't let it down among those who aren't.

Personality/History: When Entoxica was a human, she was seduced, then turned by the Vampire Lord, Maxwell. During the turning, he stole her innocence (and before you say anything, yes that innocence) and buried fear deep within her. Entoxica is the closest thing to a princess among the vampires, since she will be the new Lady when Maxwell is gone from the world. Most vampires hate her because she seems aloof, but she is really blocking out eveyone. She remains expressionless so that no one, not even herself, knows about the constant fear she has of Maxwell. She is the most expressionless around Maxwell, and acts like a loyal and obediant daughter. When she's around Onyx, she is even more cautious because her emotions seem to want to show themselves and she is afraid of him because of that. The only one she doesn't fear is Alexandra, but even then she is stotic and cold. Entoxica has no respect for humans, because she is ashamed of her own weakness while she was one. Entoxica misses her family from when she was human, and that is why she takes care of Alexandra like a daughter.

ONYX

Appearance: long black hair (down to the back of neck) kept in a ponytail. Black eyes and a long face. Tall, about 6'7". Wears a long black cloak over black pants and a black shirt. About 3 feet wide in the shoulders, but actually pretty slim for this broadness. Now very muscular, but pretty good with a sword.

Personality/History: Onyx was quite the ladies man before he was turned, and he never really let go of the hobby. He likes to tease and annoy girls, just like a little kid with a girl he's crushing on. Onyx is actually pretty playful for a vampire of his time, but can be pretty serious when the need arises. Onyx still acts as a "mysterious stranger" for the village girls, so he has more fondness for humans as a race than most vampires. He has more than a little bit of an attraction for Entoxica, but any attempts on his part usually end with him on the ground, some part of his body in pain. Onyx knows that Maxwell did something to make Entoxica fear men, and Maxwell especially. Even if he didn't have a thing for Entoxica, he would hate Maxwell for this, because Onyx respects women too much to allow anyone, human or lilm, or disrespect them. Still, Onyx is far from the strongest of the vampires, and he rarely can do much against stronger enemies. Despite this, he will openly challenge anyone who he thinks deserves it, and usually needs someone to talk some sense into him. Onyx has a fatherly love for Alexandra, and is not afraid to show it. He may seem naive and childish, but Onyx actually knows exactly what he's doing... most of the time.

ALEXANDRA

Appearance: Alexandra has chocolate colored hair, which she keeps flowing, held back only by a white bow. In fact, Alexandra is always wearing white, marking her as a human "pet" in the vampire community. She is 10 years old.

Personality/History: After her parents were killed by werewolves, Alexandra attatched herself to Entoxica, and wants to one day be turned into a vampire as well. Alexandra has an imobilizing fear of the werewolves, but is curious about all of the other lilm, to the point of learning to read the vampiric language so that she can read theuir books. This is a more then remarkable feat, because the vampire's language is so extensive and complicated that most of them don't even bother to learn it themselves. From her books, Alexandra learned a lot about where vampires came from and their weaknesses. Most vampires do not trust Alexandra, and all the werewolves have a strong desire to kill her. She is ignorant to this, and needs to be watched over by Entoxica or Onyx at all times. Alexandra doesn't mind though, she is eager to please either of her "parents" with anything she learned, but is usually hiding whenever Maxwell is around.

MAXWELL

Appearance: Maxwell had long blonde hair, even longer than Entoxica's. He has it tied into a braid, whcih goes down to the middle of his back. He is nearly 7 feet tall, and 4 feet wide. Everything about him is intimidating, from his steel-toed boots to his blood-colored eyes. He wears a wine-colored cloak that covers the rest of his outfit, excpet for when he fights, which is rare.

Personality/History: Maxwell is cold, cruel, and downright sadistic. He takes more pleasure in seeing fear in people's eyes than anything, which is why he turned Entoxica in the first place. He watched her for a while, seeing how fearless she was when handling any man in the village. He courted her as "Arnold Plogojowitz" and waited until she trusted him. Then, he betrayed her and tunred her. Even then though, she was angry, not fearful. This angered Maxwell, and for forced himself onto her, satisfying himself with the fear and pain that came upon her. Though Entoxica kept a cool distance, and an expressionless mask, Maxwell was satisfied in the fact that he caused her to wish for death, and then be cursed with a half-life. Maxwell has no intention of dying, so he sees having Entoxica as his "heir" an arrangement that gives him excuse to be near her, filling him with an intense ectasy as her air suddenyl stiffens and she keeps on guard for fear of him.


I know that Maxwell isn't too well developed in the description, but he will always be pretty one-dimensional in the fact that he's the antagonist. There will be an explanation for his perverse obsession with making women weak in their eyes, but there is not going to be anything that really justifies it. All I can think of so far is a woman who used him, but I know that I'm going to need something stronger than that to make him this bad. Like I said, Construstive Criticism wanted!

It occuered to me that maxwell is deeply insecure thats why he has to inspire fear in women guys who seek to make women weak do so because they are threatened by them (personally i love strong independant women) thats why he did what he did to Entoxica (Great name by the way ) her strength is something that he fears ill have a think about it some more and get back to you

SMALL P-NIS ALERT! *points at Maxwell accusingly* XD

I wanted to do something like that one guy in Kiss the Girls (only saw a little of the movie, and never read the book, so correct me if I'm wrong) where he feels as though strong women should be taught to be weak. That's why he's so obsessed with Entoxica, cause deep down she's a lot stronger than he is.

Thanks for the name compliment, it's supposed to mean lust (intoxication+erotica=Entoxica XD) I'm planning on having a little tidbit on Alexandra looking up "Entoxica" and finding the translation as "whore" and then asking ever-so-innocently what a whore is.
