Night of the Living Dead... so Zombies?? How are zombies scary? They're just people...they are people who dont die when you stab them repeatedly, they dont bleed to death, they eat human flesh and smell quite bad. how is that not scary. I loved 13 Ghosts. Have you seen Ghost Ship, Asi? That's another good one. They aren't scary, but they're still good flicks.

I have seen ghost ship. I think what makes those movies appealing is the fact that there is a background story to how they became a ghost and that gives them substance and in a way makes them more interesting then just a "I'm a scary thing because I died".
Scenario: You have two ghosts. One ghost you see has a straight jacket, laughs all crazy like, and haunts you but you know nothing about it. The other ghost you know (who looks like a run of the mill person) died because someone came and first of all sewed the lower portion of their bodies up so they couldn't get rid of their own waste. And then they were tied up with barbed wire and they had pieces of their skin torn off and were forced to eat them and had pin needles shoved under thier nails and then they were suspended by a hook or somthing above a loved one (say a small child) and were dropped repeatedly from that high point not killing themself really but causing them to crush their loved one to death. Add some other bad stuff there and once that person dies I don't care how they look I know they are going to be one scary vengeful thing of not good-ness, and I'll go stand with Mr. crazy straightjacket
Just an example of why movies like 13 ghosts and ghost ship are seemingly more entertaining then other movies.

I've never heard of that one, but that sounds freaking awesome!! I used to loooove Tales From the Crypt. They weren't scary, just awesome.

How about not judging someone else because they are interested in checking out something suggested by another person. We all by now understand that you and Kadesh do not mix, but so what, that happens frequently here. What I would like to dredge up is the fact that you were so insistent that we all be tolerant of others in the community and yet here you are committing the same atrocity that you have accused most of us of committing since your arrival here at Monstrous. Have we affected your attitude so much in such a short period of time? Or are you just that fickle in your personality? I make no secret about who and what I am, never have and I never will. You can always count on me to stand by my guns, you on the other hand seem to be doing a complete 180.
So what is it to be Banshee, The tolerant mother figure who is understanding and wants everyone to get along, or the vicious matron who will trounce you at a moments notice if you refuse to see things her way. I do not care which way you choose to go as long as you are consistent in your choice. You can not have your cake and eat it too after all.

Oh, but i am tolerant, and i see its normal here to openly state when you dont like someone. Its my choice not to or vice versa. I can be both a tolerant mother figure and vicious matron, depends on my day and on a person that steps on my toe. Maybe its just those days of a month, fool moon or climate change, not really sure but hey does it really matter?
And it would be great if everyone could get along but news flash, they dont. As you probably know well yourself. Maybe its just alpha female issue. But then again, it could be the climate change :roll:
