Title: elves
Post by: whitefox17 on July 02, 2008, 09:56:20 AM
diffrence between an Elf and a Human
humans age every year while an elf ages every 4 billion yrs
humans can have diffrent hair color from their eyes but elves have the same; gold hair gold eyes ,emrald hair  emarald eyes etc
elves are born with tatoo like symbols all over their body, almost like a vaintine
elves will never miss when shooting an arrow
plus many more diffrences

Bite me, that's tolkien's work. and while i'm all for the man and his genius, nothing can age that long.

NOthing, see, the  4 billion year aging thing is impossible, all matter in this universe emits energy, be it mechanical, chemical, or whatever. Now lets say that elves age an average of  "1 year "/billion.

This would either mean that they live at speeds much faster than light(which is impossible) because they would get thrown into the future, about a billion years every light year.

and matter going at above the speed of  light requires a SUPER MASSIVE  AMOUNT OF ENERGY. as the energy required for light speed is........ well infinite....

# To accelerate an object of non-zero rest mass to c would require infinite time with any finite acceleration, or infinite acceleration for a finite amount of time.
# Either way, such acceleration requires infinite energy. Going beyond the speed of light in a homogeneous space would hence require more than infinite energy, which is not generally considered to be a sensible notion.

i have a birth mark on(this is embarrasing) my navel that looks like the summarian symbol for young warrior, and i thought that was weird since i also have one on my hand that is the symbol for archer
 im weird arn't i

hey we're just having fun and sick_angel13's right
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok then, it looks like your eyes are the same colour as your hair (I could be wrong though) so you could be;
33x4=99 Billion years old, not holding up too bad for your age! The thing is that this would make you older than the universe.
So our first serious question should be, what universe are you from?

Note that vivid points to his argument where elves might be from a parallel universe where the rules are different.

Please be reminded that if this is a joke topic you should say so. If this is some strange attempt at gaining recognition please try not to make it look like you are a tosser, ok?  :-)

BTW:.............. gimme your number:wink:

Ok......... now try making something actually believable ok? even if the pretense is initially bull crap.

killops, rodes, dargons, dragons, and some types of dragnitites know how to kill a vampire and they're not humanoid
plus vaintines, tolkas, elves and antlanteans cant become vamps
aquas can but they're just like humans except they have 2 stomics(1 for storing energy, not the kind that comes from food but aroras)

Sorry Raziel.

Just so that you know that I was not just talking a load of "killops", I quickly noted my mathematical error.
I have since corrected and edited my mistake, which now reads as (33x4= 132 Billion years).

Sorry for my clumsy error *<:)

Title: Re: elves
Post by: whitefox17 on July 08, 2008, 07:15:27 AM
ok there is Loters law that says: nothing can move at a speed higher or at the speed of light unless its already moving at that speed.therfor to travel at that speed you must use light or you will blow up
heres a law to go with the age thing
Rekos law: nothing in life and time can stay as is with out ageing with out the rulers energy

so what raziel said was true, but we found auras
1 beings aura could keep us alive for  at best 500,000yrs

now the elves, pronx, cains, tolka, rodes, and cerberus they live in diffrent universes so i dont know their laws

but as for the antlanteans, aquas, killops, dragons, dargons, and dragnitites they're top life is vereses around 50,000,000

Well, ancient Celtic myths did have some elfs that were similar to those in Lord of the Rings.
The Norse used the same word for dwarfs and elfs a lot of the time, but they occasionally differentiated. The elfs in Norse myths ranged from small mischievous fairy-like things to beings similar to the Elfs in LotR.

Title: Re: elves
Post by: Levinthross on August 26, 2008, 01:03:58 PM
as far as i know there  are the standard elves like most would think you know (lives in forests shoot arrows and all that loveable crap) dark elves like
muaw and the hoity toity light elves or high elves i think is what some people call them  know  from the legends ive managed to procure all elves used to be the same except the high elves were avid beleiver in white magic where as dark elves or the elves who were to become daark elves took magic with a more varied aproach Dark elemental blood anyways they were exiled into hiding or at least away from high elves the elves who held middle ground became the normal elves the high elves kept to themselves and the dark elves slowly were changed by different magics. no elves are seperated from other fey how you ask/ well my loves we have no wings and of course we are quite larger than our cousins and can usually mingle in with normal people.

Ok, well, then... besides from my traits of an elf, Im also extra sensible, meaning I see shadows and orbs when no one else can. I sense animals, meaning, understand them. I have visions-dreams. I crave food with blood. Much of it. As raw as possible. I have high level of bio energy, sometimes I can heal others headaches as well. I have extraordinary hearing ability. I checked that in the hospital, I hear more than ordinary humans do. Example, I can hear what person says from 100 m, even through a closed window. Entities of different types like to approach me... I call it The Shining (like the movie). I have unusual amount of pheromones. And that is not so good as someone may think... caused me a lot of troubles in my life, with men... Sometimes I shift, but not into a were or something like that... Im humanoid, I just dont know what, cause I havent seen no one looking like that, not even in a fantasy movie... also, I have a strong connection with storms and nature, especially woods... water... earth. Everything I plant, grows better than plants I didnt plant.... same as animals, if I take a pup that is condemned to die due to exhaustion, it will grow strong and smart....

cant think of more now...

is it enough?

yeah, I'm a grammar Nazi, I'll admit it.
but there's no excuse for not speaking proper English unless it's not your first language, and even then if you're going to be on an English-language website, it's best to not say anything unles you can be legible. You know?
But really I do it to help out. Instead of calling him a complete braindead fuckwit that needs to shut the fark up, I'm simply pointing out a mistake he made. Not all people are that nice.
And really the only reason I said anything at all is because I read it wrong, and what I thought it said was freakin' hilarious.

No, I'm not a teacher, but I've considered becoming one.

In actuality, elves vary greatly in appearance & temperment depending where they come from. In general they are not the Legolas or Arwen type. They are generally short & chubby. Tolkiens elves are in actuallity more similar to certain Fey races such as wood nymphs. Most elves are "trooping elves" which means they live in groups these are generally beneficial to humans. Solitary elves are more dangerous & more rare. They do age more slowly than humans, but not the 1year=1billion years. More like 1=50 or 100. The hair/eye thing is something I have never heard outside of works of fiction pertaining mainly to the Fey.

I wouldn't be surprised. Nords are supposed to be extremely unsettling, but beautiful at the same time. Those are characteristics that have been associated with elves.

I've tried, it requires some kind of energy aura that surrounds the elves and admits them, allowing them to pass a barrier. The only way to get an aura would be to hold a live elf hostage, but you would have an arrow in between your eyes before you got within 50 yards.
Title: Re: elves

Title: Re: elves
Post by: ~Divinity~ on August 29, 2008, 05:32:38 PM
You age differently in there. If elves are anything like Dryads, they have some kind of sex drive. Do to the fact that the men are who go to war typically, there must be more women then men. I think I'll let you draw your own conclusions from there.
Title: Re: elves
Post by: Petling on August 29, 2008, 06:26:19 PM
What does sex drive have to do with age? :?
Title: Re: elves
Post by: ~Divinity~ on August 29, 2008, 09:19:15 PM
Time passes slowly in the fay realm, and elves are already of the multiple species of the long lived. The long-lived have infused their realm with a timeless agelessness that allows time to pass slower there.

I was before explaining the reason they take the humans.
Title: Re: elves
Post by: Levinthross on September 01, 2008, 02:22:50 AM
hold up hold up hold up not to be blunt but dryads dont knock boots the god forsaken tree spirits and as such they reproduce like trees or through the union of two souls and male dryads are peacefull i think your getting dryads mixed with nymphs

In much of the Lore I've read Dryads were completely female. There are no males.
