for some reason im the only one in my family that believes in aliens. i have been fascinated by them ever since i was a kid.
here are my reasons i think aliens truly exists.
#1. there are other places than earth.
#2. there have been so many people claiming about their sighting that one of them is bound to be real.
#3. there are paintings of the virgin mary that i have seen with a ufo in the back ground.
#4. roswell
#5. area 51 of course
#6. the fact that the government lies to us, they claimed that there was no area 51 but there was sattalite pictures of the base.
#7. photos even if they are blurry or fake they look real.
#8. people who worked for the government have claimed what they saw.
#9. loads of cover ups for sightings.

personally i think there are not as many believers as there use to be, but im one.

i think they have been here observing us and getting ready to make their move.

some are nice some are hostile

either way the truth is out there.

Honestly, there are many more substantion reasons to believe that aliens exist that the ones that you offer.  I mean, once we drop an egocentric view, there's no reason to believe they don't exist.  Belief that we've made contact, on the other hand....

 The whole area 51 thing... I live about 50 miles from it in las vegas...... its about 40 min away... of course it exists.

I know im just trying to say the government denies any knowledge i was just trying to prove a point thats all. i already know it exists. for something they claim thats its not in use they sure have it heavily guarded.

They could be using it for a distraction and telling the truth, you never know.

i don't know what but something about them makes me want to learn abot them im just fascinated about them. when i think of myths and other stuff i think of aliens.

Everyone has their specialty.  If this is what intrests you, pursue it.  If you think Aliens exist, why not spend some time researching it and compiling some evidence on it?  One of the best ways to do that is to start with the assumtion that they don't exist, put down as much proof as you can towards that, and then bring in every counterargument you can to compete with that.  That way, you have the best grounds for knowledge and you can easily inform others as well.  No matter what, you'd be learning something.

Sorry for the rambling.  I guess what I'm trying to say is, go for it.  Others may tell you that such an idea is preposterous and absurd, you may get discouraged, but keep at it.

 The roswell thing though... Umm i just recently watched a program on national geographic. They did a show on roswell. The counter theory compared to the evidense I have to say seemed hard to deny. They said they had special modified weather balloons that could pic up nuclear testing half way around the world. Now the only thing they found in the crash was aluminum foil, rubber tubing, and wooden sticks with marking on them. The son of the rancher confirmed this. The son however believed that the markings were alien in origin. Now when the balloon device was to be made the government hired a toy company to make them.  They used the matierials they had. One of wich was scotch tape that had a floral pattern on it. When the device crashed the sun would have bleached the tape, making the ink bleed onto the wood, hence the markings.
 Now at first you would think, well then why didn't the government just come out and say this. It was because that Roswell happend during the cold war between the us and russia. So really the alien theory worked out great for the cover up. They told the people weather balloons to keep credibility. Also remember at the time this was a classified tool to see if russia was testing nuclear weapons, so naturally they did not want russia to find out they had such a device.
 I personally have to believe in this theory because it makes perfect sence. anyways hope this helps a little.

at least it does prove 1 of my theories that the government uses cover ups i think it was brilliant cover up toosince we were in the era of people that truly believed aliens exist. i still do believe.

 I believe in aliens too. Personally I would find it arrogant to believe a universe as vast and infante as it is would only hold one form of intelligent life. The movie contact put it best.... "It would be an awful waste of space"

true and because we are so small and insignificant its impossible that we are the only life i dont believe however that we will be able to come in contact with any others because in order to do so we would need to move either lightyears in seconds or have generation spanning trips (where people have kids on the trip and those kids have kids and so on) and somehow get the required supplies for such a trip      impossible unless they somehow find a way to get to us before were all extinct but the probability of us being found is rediculusly low

unfortunatly alot of these UFO sightings are false and theres never any good proof yet there are scientific explanations as to why some things happen such as:

falling chunks of rocks fall through the atmosphere and cause burning flashes that occationally disturb plasma in the atmosphere giving off the rainbow multicolor effect

also when certain electronic waves pass through certain parts of your brain it can distort some memories and even make some people colorless and/or featureless wich can account for sevral abduction stories

Also most "Abductees" are normally Hillbilly Rednecks    i want an intelligent person to get abducted lol

true, but you have many indicators for something, it ussually is that. It is a goose if it flaps like a goose.
