oh XD well i thought that at least someone would know, well i don't really know which ones i'm talking about. its just i heard a topic in the fae section and a few people were saying that faes only do things for people when they live in their homes- there wasn't a specific type of fae mentioned.

Well if your guardian (spirit guide, animal totem, guardian angel, etc.) is a fae then that is a reason to have one. Not all guides are human and it is not uncommon to be a fae.

They can also be passing by spirits that just happen to be fae. They can come to your property for many reasons. However to appear without a reason is uncommon. They generally have a reason for why they are coming even if it is a simple one. There are not as many locations as there used to be where they are welcomed with open arms. Most people would run away as soon as they think they heard a "ghost". They don't really get into exploring the other sides of life.

If a fae lives in your property and you have a general good disposition with them, then a friendship is not too hard at all. They could become great companions that have many good things to hear. They can enrich a garden and bless it.
Most fae folk avoid people and are easily offended. Many of the fae are also found a bit childish.

I am trying to be general here, I hope this helps. Now keep in mind they avoid people and this is kinda rare now days. Unless you invite them into your home and make your home desirable to linger around.

Some fae are tied to certain areas of land or to some families. Certain flowers, gifts can invite the fae in. It should be noted that not all fae are nice or helpful & almost all enjoy playing pranks on humans.

most fae also ned the places to be magically hospitable thus the well flourishing crops cleanliness e.t.c it basically comes down to do you fulfill the fairuys requirements and if they are even in your area almost like building a butterfly garden you have to have th eplants and the place in order to atract specific butterflys
the wind that chills the night, the fire's golden light
the oceans call to you, the earthen fated tune,
I am the ivy binding tight i hold the spells all through the night, i am
nightshade's fated swoon of deaths kiss and witches broom
