now, could I drink hot blood, and do such bitter business as the day would quake to look on."

Thank you for the welcoming, but the spelling, as alastor said, could cause a bit of a problem. And with the brushing my teeth thing, I just went to the dentist today at 3:30 and I did make a point in asking him about me possibly having gingivitis, the gum condition which were if you don't brush enough your gums bleed. He said no, and that I've had only one case of gingivitis and that was when I first got my braces back on in the 6th grade. Now I think I would keep my teeth clean if I've had to live with 7 years of braces 2nd grade -8th grade w/ a retainer. :)

I never said I was a physical shifter, but possibly a mental shifter. But the dream happen so often that I thought I might speak up about it. But thank you for your insight.

Sounds like our friend Dark Wolf is a bit of a pessimist...

Dark Wolf, you might not be aware of this, but lucid dream shifting is one of the most credible traits that are said to define a genuine were. Though I have good cause to belief that this is the hardly the case with me,the frequency of  Catherine's shifting dreams, suggests that there is a strong possibility that she might indeed be a were. And who knows,so might you. Never close your mind to all possibilities.

Wow, I never knew that it could be a genuine trait. I thought that prevoked mental or physical shifting would be the real sign. Thank you maggot man! :D
Question though: Is dream shifting and lucid dream shifting the same thing or different? I'm pretty sure for mental you actually have to want to change, and your not asleep.
Thank you! :)

Remember that Dark Wolf is not a native english speaker and therefore his spelling is affected.  I think he does a pretty good job (but that's because my spelling stinks!).

Your attitude is the only thing they can't take from you.

The key difference between Lucid Dream shifting and Dream Shifting is that  with the former, the shifter knows that he or she is dreaming and is thus able to morph at will, while the latter usually involves an involuntary change by a shifter who has no idea that he or she  is dreaming. I hope my explanation has made things a little less confusing for you. Which means that what you've done so far is probably Dream shifting as opposed to Lucid Dream Shifting. Not to worry though.  Dream shifting is still a valid trait. I do apologize for messing up the defination of Lucid Dream Shifting. Lack of use has left my store house of paranormal knowledge a little rusty.

Thank you for clearing that up for me! Your definition was just fine! Thank you. I'm still glad its a valid trait!

P.S I've looked in some of the other forums and in more detail @ this one, but a question arises.... Why are the vamps and weres on this board seem against each other? Is this some ancient rivalry that I don't know about? Its kind of funny actually!

Ancient rivalry? Oh,nothing as sweeping or dramatic as that,I assure you. Simply a bunch of a 13 year old kids who see Underworld as a reliable source of information on weres and vampires. I mean,we do have a were here who holds vampires in contempt, but his grudge against them is merely a personal vendetta stemming from an assault made on him by an unfortunate feral vamp that must have been caught in the throes of a full fledged Awakening. No,weres and vampires get along just fine,as long as each is willing to mantain an open mind regarding the possibility of the other existing.

Ok, that clears it up. Poor guy, that must have been pretty intense! Anywho, thank you for all the information! You'll be seeing me around...
