Don't get me started on Japan. I'm a generally tolerant guy, but I think that is the one culture that truely aggrivates me. Not old Japan, I'm talking, post-1970 Japan. But that is off-topic and one of my many idiosyncracies.

As for Kitsune, that is much cooler sounding than werefox, all though I can't get the image of "Tails" from Sonic the Hedgehog out of my mind. That or Fox McCloud. Either way, I guess shifters come in all shapes and sizes. (Pun intended)

Turquoise can help suppress lycanthropic tendancies. While you can never really be rid of it, "were-ism" is something that can be subdued or cultivated, like any natural talent or tendancy.

Things to avoid would be materials like Rose Quartz, Moonstone and, ironically, Silver, as these have a tendancy to cultivate whatever it is that makes shifters change.

I think a larger point that many are missing here is that some weres do not like being weres no matter how much you might... Some simply see it as some kind of abberation within themselves that must be cured so they can be "normal" like everyone else. And I think we should respect that decision above all, no matter how strange it may seem to us...
