Title: Anyways Into The Otherworlds?
Post by: Dark Lord M on July 21, 2006, 11:35:52 AM
Are there anyways to enter the Otherworlds, just to watch out. I don't want to wake up anywhere I don't want to...

Yes, actually. Supposedly, the best way to entire Faerie is to enter a Sidhe Mound at twilight and sleep there, with your head lying opposite the exit and being completely willing to be abducted.

Also, it helps if you are a virgin maiden, but I think that's pretty irrelevant in modern-day society. :)

I know the feeling. One minute you are at a party, then you wake up and find yourself strapped naked to a bed with a sock in your mouth.

Anyways, people claim that they can open portals into other worlds, some people say trances work, too. The only place I know how to access is the astral world.

Yes, I have romped through the Astral World. You would be amazed at what I see. I have also heard stepping in the middle of a Faery Ring will take you to the Twilight Realm as well.

Stepping into one, no... (I tried it shortly after I took those pictures of one). I'm told that you have to dance in one in order to have anything really interesting happen. (I wasn't about to start dancing in front of someones house in case it didn't work and I had the police called on me).  I'm also told that you deffinitely should NOT fall asleep in one. (Though the one I found was a little small to be caught sleeping in... maybe if you brought a folding chair or something...)

Well I have danced in one recently and nothing's happened so far... I believe that Glastonbury Tor in Somerset, England can be used as an entrance to the fae realm, though it is also reputedly the doorway to Hell.

The fastest way I know to get into the Otherworlds is through the magical portal at the bottom of a bag of mushrooms.

I assume that you empty the bag into your mouth first?

Approx 600 complete perceptual agglomerations that constitute complete worlds.
600 that are available to the human energetic structure.
Of course i have not verified this. I have only experienced 2.
I do have it on good authority about the other though. Enough for me to believe it anyway.

There are quite a few ways to get there.

You wrote about levitating over your bed so hopefully you know that what i am talking about is very very real.
You were only waking up a few inches off your bed and you called this levitation, your body could in fact wake up anywhere your dreaming attention focusses on.
(That attention is nothing to do with your mind. It is totally outside this.)

In dreaming it is possible to train this other attention to focus on very different places
It can be a different place in this world, but i know stories about people who chose to go further.
I have even met a few.

As for my brief excursions i will simply say that whilst fully awake i focussed my 'other' attention on something else  and  negotiated a hitch. Possibly the most terrifying experience of my life. Also one of the dumbest.

This is an enormous subject. Most people just dont get how vast this is. They will read this and think i am on about astral projection, hallucinations, or ideas. I am not.

so u're saying that it wasn't myself doing the levitation, it was just that i was really into my dream ?
ah then how would i train myself to be in other places ?

The levitation was probably real. What i was talking about was the secret to how this is possible.
When you  understand how this is possible you will see how it is possible to move bodily into other worlds.
