Gerald and Marianne Harcourt are traveling  when their car breaks down and they have to spend a few days in a small, remote village.

They are invited to Dr. Ravna's castle.

Dr. Ravna is the leader of a vampire cult

Plotwise its nothing new

Being a vampire movie there isn't much blood just a bloody opening and an all out attack at the end

What do you want, you moon-faced assassin of joy?

We walk in the dark places no others will enter. We stand on the bridge and no-one may pass. We live for the One, we die for the One

This film was OK but never really grabbed me.  Vampire movies have always been popular but as you said this one really didn't add anything new to the genre.
