From the makers of The Last Exorcism (duh), ...Part II receives its U.S release on Friday 1 March, with rest of the world releases later in the year.* Set as the sequel to the 2010 original, the film kicks off when Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found alone and terrified in the woods somewhere in Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning...

While the first movie adopted the documentary style approach, the sequel is a standard 'narrative' affair. Visually, it looks great. But there are still a lot of question marks over whether it will hit the right notes with the story, or simply continue sitting on the fence viz "crazy or possessed"?
