How did you chose your monstrous names? Do they have any meaning?

I'm not really sure how I came about choosing my monstrous name.... Normally I go by Infinite Silence, but for some reason this one just sort of hit me and stuck...

  Earned during the "Great Halo Wars" ( 16 man competitions at Whiteman AFB).  A Spanish freind of mine dubbed me so during a rather ruthless campain of relentless slaughter of the opposing team.  After that many others also began using the term and it stuck, so here I am "Muerte the Relentless".

I just thought it suited me, but its not the only name I've gone by. Just my most common one. My nickname really just depends on who you're talking to.

Post by: blacksite117 on February 13, 2011, 02:14:11 PM
a combination of 2 of my (at the time) favorite games;

blacksite - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackSite:_Area_51 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackSite:_Area_51)
(this article says area 51 but my copy has no such title so  :?)

117 = halo - a.k.a master chief (i know fan-boy etc.)

i stuck these 2 together and i got blacksite117, how original am i.

 :wink:

As long as you didnt go with 1337, you're not bad at your name choice. But I have to admit, I like Noble Six better than Master Chief. And Blacksite was an interesting game, so points for paying respect to that one.

But I chose confused_mystery because i just wanted to know what the hell was wrong with me  :laugh: and to be enlightened of what the supernatural realm holds  :-D

Mine was first going to be Ravenous Wolf, but that was a little too long to suit me, then Raven Wolf, but I figured there would probably be dozens with either of those words in there names, ravinclaw just hit me and kinda felt right given my Native American heritage, so I went with it.

Well I guess my name is going to be rather boring for this topic.

My name in real life is Matt so I like to use matthew321 on most of my online activities. It is the screen name that sticks with you, the problem is that some people keep on taking this name and force me to think of new ones that people will also take... (It is a conspiracy against me.... Perhaps by the French since I did reveal their secret about the Eiffel Tower... see this topic for the joke I am referring too http://www.monstrous.com/forum/index.php?topic=9418.0 (http://www.monstrous.com/forum/index.php?topic=9418.0))

The 321 comes from unimaginative convenience of numbers that would be readily available and not hard to generate.

Guys: that's all they see
Girls: well they get jealous and catty (lol no its not in my head, every1 around me notices)

There are plenty of people who dont look at someone and just see their "looks", probaly just talking to the wrong kind of people.

I actually went with "ViciouslyMe" because it better describes the way I used to be, before getting myself better under control. But I assume other meanings could be taken from it.

  It could have, but that is more of a family name isn't dear?  While it is a nice name (Sammy) is not what you feel most of the time is it.  (No question mark there so my last must be a statement and not a question as I have already Identified your nickname in a prior posting).

  On wonders if these friends you debate with have access to computers and if they would like to bring their debates here.  Or are you the Vanguard, testing the waters as it were before they make an appearance themselves.  I ask because the more the merrier here at our happy little community (also the more minds we bring to gether the closer to truth we will come).

Call me what you like, just make sure I understand you mean me. Atleast that way I know when to respond.

VBD I thought you said your user name was describing you, now you say its because of your likes? That you were a black demon with vampiric traits. Not that it was based off what you like and what your friends call you. Sorry if I seem rude, it just bothers me when people seem to change their stories.

That is true, you seem to have missed the part that said, its based of many things. the fact of what i am is known so i did not list it. amongst other things i told my friends of what i am thats why i get called that. Go to say it! if you wish to know the shorter name.

I know your pain (except for the curves), I'm a tall person too (6'11") and people are intimidated by me too. The more accurate way to describe me would probably be "Viking" though, not amazon  *<:)

The opposite is true of me, guys are all jealous, they’re like “Oh, he has to be doing steroids” or something like that and most girls are intimidated by me too, there’s only one that wasn’t, she's my girlfriend and she’s also a were (Go Figure)   :-D

LeXtruX is derived from Lexus, because I likes the sound of the name, I also love the name Lex and I wanted it to end on an X but LeXuX wasn't really an option for the gamer I was back then and suddenly LeXtruX popped in my mind :)

It's a short film with a recording of Sylvia Plath reading the poem, and it's rather chilling - she sounds like an evil sorceress in an old Hammer flick.

The numbers in my name - 616 - apparently scholars are saying that it's the actual number of Satan rather than 666, so I chuck it into stuff as a sort of joke that I know hardly anyone will get.

As for 'The Circle', you'll either know what it is or you won't and if you don't then it'll take a long time explain. :wink:
