So, I'm sure we have artists of all types here. Painters, band members, writers... I even allow that Photography is a form of art.
Do you Crochet? Build shelves? I'd like to see what creations are born out of our members' minds!

You can change pixel size and picture format ( both change the file size ) by using any picture editing program, even Paint... or if you have Photobucket, they offer editing tools.
For example, a 400x400 jpeg picture would fit wonderfully here and still be relatively small in file size.
I understand pictures always vary, some are wider than they are taller, and if you squish them too much you lose the picture entirely.
If you're worried about quality, try converting the image to Gif or Png, this keeps good quality regardless of size.
Basically, just try to avoid BMP pictures that take up the whole Post 

If you post the picture in the Monstrous Gallery, or even have a Gallery ( deviantart, etc ) of your own, just link us!
Since we have a Music Board for Composers, and a Library Board for Authors, if you'd prefer to post your stuff there, or if you already have, link us!

I'm confused though... The picture sizes are exactly the same for ALL of these: 263 x 394
So, why did the first few show up like I wanted them to, and these last ones show up BIG?

EDIT 2: Nope, don't got it. These pictures are 189 x 283
So, they SHOULD be pretty damn small.

I was chatting with Nina, and got distracted with this... originally it was just suppose to be a doodle, and that's why it's on Notebook paper. I like it 
I took one picture, so you can see what I was working with. Eraser, Mech. Pencil, Pen, Inking pen, pure Graphite and a Blending tool. Pretty spiffy, yeah?

This is a design I did earlier today, shortly after my Butterfly Girl:

I had this design almost completely finished... decided I didn't like it, so I started over.
Then my youngest colored on part of it, so I had to cover all that up.
I'm about halfway done, right now.

So far they've been great Teteo, but that last one really draws me in. It's mesmerizing lol.

I was going to be a smart ass and say something like, "Well of course it is, it came from my mind" but... It sorta lacks when the Ego recedes for a Blush.

I'm not sure how happy I am with this... just because of how unclean the lines are. I can't be too upset with myself over that though, considering I was inking it to focus my mind and fight off a seizure...
You can tell how unstable I was feeling, and you can tell where I finally couldn't fight it anymore. The awesome part about that, is I was on my closing line, and finished the inking process before I finally dropped.

I guess I should post up here if this is a show and tell area ^_^; sooo here you go, a few examples of my art;



The above picture was a commision, the buyer wanted Iron Maidens Eddie as a wolf, so I did the Piece of mind pose/scene and added my own head. The art was lightly sketched with H pencil and then inked over using a feather quill and indian ink.



This picture was done as a Christmas present for my Dad whom hadn't been in my life for 10 years so he had no idea what I was into, this piece is titled " A few of my favourite things" and it was sketched with HB pencil, inked with feather quill and indian ink and the background was watercolour paints.



A doodle using black biro pen



This was going to be used in 3 page comic but I never got round to finishing it. Drawn with HB pencil and inked with a black pen.



Another doodle but used indian ink and quill again ^_^;

I was thinking of just using High and low light type coloring. The edges and shadows, that's about it...
