How do you create your own spell from this? Sorry if it is a stupid question but I know nothing of spells.

You can take the time, color, season, phase, direction, and oil into consideration to get what you desire. Words are words when the mood is right.

actually, was transcribing from a wonderful little book i have, next are the moon phases, the days of the week, colors, oils, a few other aspects to spell casting and even some generic rhymes when your creativity may be a little lacking...i was just getting my party ready yesterday, it was a smashing successs, do you have any reference you'd like to offer up?

new moon
when the moon is not visible
banishments, psychic energy, healing, resting

waxing crescent moon
when the visible part of th emoon is less than half full and increasing.
invoke things you want, start new projects, control energies and growth

first quarter
when half the moon is full and increasing

full moon
whe the full moon is visible
integrating and perfecting ideas and projects, working on positives, psychic energy, creativity, physical energy.

last quarter
when half the moon is full and decreasing.

waxing crescent moon
whe the visible part of the moon is less than half full and decreasing.

natually any moon aspects you use in your spell, the first quarter would be used for bringing things into your life and the last quarter would be removing things in your life...

days of the week are also beneficial to coordinate any spell work on.

Sunday

Monday

It has need to know facts, symbolds, ect ect for everyday magick.

it sounds okay, but personally i've become rather bored with a lot of books that are put out there with pre constructed spells...aside from a few words they are really no different than any other spell, the correspondences would be cool, allowing a person to whip something up, but i've already have wonderful books that contain base spell i can elaborate or duplicate if i would like.

oddly enough, the last spell book i purchase was silver ravenwolf's spell for prosperity, it had some good ideas...but the one spell i used didn't seem to work, so i went back, constructed my own and just now beginning to curb some of my poor spending habits.

that's why i purchased the pocket spell generator, it's a refreshing change from the usual "this spell done this way" to this is what works in all spells, most i know, but it's still nice sometimes to be reminded that a friday new moon with lots of pink, red and other romance associated items would be a better day for  a love spell than a sunday on a waning moon.

Personal spells, I feel, tend to work better because it was your mind that contriubuted to it and it already has the purpose of it in mind. But it always helps to have some helpers.
