Title: ALEISTER CROWLEY-The Man, The Myth, The Mental Institution
Post by: prezhorusin04 on July 24, 2005, 01:33:37 AM
Crowley was a great genius in his own right. A master magus of the prime order, though lacking the wealth and power to truley materialize the greatest of his hopes and goals. A deviant drug addict, womanizer, and practicianer of ritualistic sex majik, he would not be considered one of the most wholesome and positive of role models.

Though, many believe that Aleister Crowley never killed anyone, and instead, when he spoke of human/child sacrfice, he was in fact speaking about the releasing of orgasm and sperm through masturbation or sex. Though, there are many documented accounts of Crowley sacrificing doves, birds, chickens, and a variety of other animals at his rituals and incantations, some of which would last for many days, including days or weeks of preperation. Summoning demons was evidently hard work.

He named himself 'The Beast', '666', after spending a deal of time meditating within the great Egyptian pyramids. While there, he said that Thoth had communicated with him and told him that he was to be the reincarnation of Horus, and that his number, from this point on, would be 666.

Surely a genius, and an excellent writer with a wide range of knowledge on all topics of the esoteric, and many topics of ancient and modern history. Not an ideal role model for those seeking to do the work of goodness, but a person to repsect, to say the least.

Below are many pictures of Crowley throughout his life. It is amazing, and almost sad, to see the transformation that took place over the life-span of this master of the occult. It almost makes you wonder if the name Aleister Crowley was just a cipher, and that 2-3 people could have been doing the work of this 20th century high priest to the Beast.

Love him or hate him, you didn't underestimate him. Whether you believe he was a rogue anti-hero, or a wanna-be sell out to the New World Order, his works remain for good or ill..

Do what thou wilt with them...

Crowley in his youth, and shortly before his death. He was clearly going insane in his final days, though institutionalized, he was surely on very heavy medication that might have even made his days as a heroin addict pale in comparison. The smile on his face speaks of his blossomed insanity, as well as the fact that he appears to be playing with a toy.

I just read the wikipedia article on this guy, he seems really... interesting O..o  I mean, kind of like a Tantric, with the sex stuff, kind of satanic, with the gratification stuff, and kind of Super-occult with all the metaphysics and theological stuff....
