When we went to St Augustine, our tour guide told us about these things called Ancestors, guardian spirits that take care of Native American burial grounds. She described them as tall shadow-beings, about seven feet tall with not much of a sense of humor. I believe I have also seen one of these beings in my backyard, although I don't think there are any burial grounds near where I live. I have tried to find information about this online, but without luck.
Does anyone know about this, or something very much like this? I would love to find out more.
