Anyone who's read moonbaby13's post knows my room is haunted. The happenings go as follows :
1. There is always an uncomfortable feeling there, espicially at night
2. It is always cold, even during the summer
3. I saw a white figure in like a robe type garment one night, when I looked back at it, it was gone, I saw no facial features
4. It has messed with my dreams, In a good way, not a bad way
5. There has been responsive knocks coming from my floor
I don't think the entity is malevolent, but I just wanted to know what it is. I doubt it's a shade since it appeared as a white figure. If anyone has any ideas to what it could be, I'd love to hear them. I don't want to get rid of it, being a curious person, I just want to know what it is.

By "responsive knocks" do you mean that you can ask it a question or ask it to make itself known & then the knocks come in response? If you can interact with it I would call it an intelligent haunting but I'd need more information to make a positive ID.

by "responsive knocks" I meant that a knock came from the floor, I knocked back, then it knocked twice, so I knocked back twice, then it knocked three times, so I knocked back three more times. A few seconds later a loud knock went right behind my head (I was laying down on my floor, the knocks were right beside my face) Sorry for being so vague, hope that helps.

Few more questions
How old are you?
Has anyone else had experiences with this entity?
Have there been any other physical activities (things moving, scratching sounds seeming to come from random places)?
What was your emotional state when the activities happened (not how you reacted to them but how you felt before they happened)?

All good questions and things I've considered, to awnser them, 14 (age attracted to poltergeists), no, no one else has really experienced things (I might be crazy), I've never seen anything moved, but little things have happend (ex. I'll be looking for something and I'll look in the same place 50 times and it won't be there, but the next time I do It's there), and when it was really active (when it messed with my dreams) I was feeling depressed.

oh, I forgot, If it's any consolation, the night my dreams were messed with was during a storm.

Its probably already been suggested by someone else, but you could always try looking into the history of your house. See if anything from its past correlates with your experiences in some way (someone dying in your room, previous owners having similar experiences, etc.) If the events are coming solely from your room, try and get someone else to spend a night in there sometime and see if they have similar experiences.

It sounds like poltergeist activity especially with your age and all. If something is going on with you emotionally, physically, mentally try to talk to someone, even if it just ends up being you venting to them it may help. Ignore the activity as best you can, don't knock back if you hear knocks etc. If things start escalating to the point you are frightened then seek professional help getting rid of the entity.

I was thinking poltergheist, but then, don't they usually follow the person around, tormenting them? All the experiences have been in my room. ( I might be wrong, and, knowing me, I probally am)

Thanks, I tried looking for info, but found none. There's no way I'm talking to the previous owners......they took stuff with them they weren't supposed to.

one day i was down my aunts house. It was friday the 13th. my uncle died in a crash that very day. i slept in his room. i was sleeping when the tv got very loud and woke everybody up.
that same night my grandma was at work. The radio was playing when the saints come marching in. that was the song he played in the parade, his last performance. My mom turned the radio off. she walked out the room. when she came back the radio was on. Playing when the saints come marchin in.

Renko. Have you gone to the library and researched there yet? I don't know how big your town is, but even in middle sized towns they have a local paper. Try looking through back issues of those for murders/suides/accidental deaths. I at this point is going to assume that it is a spiritual entity as opposed to a demonic one because it does not follow you, and it is centeralized to that room. Also how old is your house, and where (meaning state).

Lol, no I don't mind, It's stupid anyway. They took cubbords......yeah.....like, to store plates in. They were nailed to the wall and they took them.....

That is kind of weird.
How many times has this knocking occured? How often? Does your floor have carpeting(if its not in the basement) I would assume there is floor space under your floor boards maybe there is a body under there and they are trying to let you know....its a little far fetched, but you never know.
When you go to the library look for disappearences that never showed back up.

Since your house is young (relatively speaking) it should be easy to learn its history, but it is possible that it isnt the house. The land itself could hold the source of the phenomina, so you may want to start there for answers. I say this because if there was a violent death in your house, it would have happened recently, and the majority in your area would know about it.

The knocking only happend once, dissapointing, I know. Yes my floor does have a rug....but I don't think there is a body under there, just a crawlspace, which I've explored.

Well, if anything did happen here, I think our neighbor would've told us....but then again, maybe not. My town was rumored to have indians on it, so that's something to think about also.

This is definately worth looking into, and if it is found true then track down the tribe and ask what sort of rituals can be done to appease their ancestors. The entity at the moment sounds benign, but if you accidently upset it things could get ugly. Good rule of thumb, a happy spirit is a good spirit. One moment and Ill do a little research into indigenous tribes of Ohio.

Keep in mind that a burial ground would not be all that close to where a tribe lived. The fact that they respected the deads peace and privacy means they would travel to get there, are there any tribal locations that could be considered near you?

Try contacting with yours or talking to it trough you having him or her write through you. It worked for me maybe it will work for you.

You know. I had an encounter a while ago. I was with my mate at the house he's staying at sleeping in the basement and a young friend of ours was on the other side on the computer. Well a loud crash and bang woke both of us up and we asked Cody(young friend) what had happened he said that wasn't the only thing the small dress that hung on the wall had been swaying and other boxes had been knocked over. Well cody freaked and went and got another one of our friends who in turn but salt at all the openings. Windows and doors...
Well my mate will talk to you in his sleep. And he began talking to me saying that it was the small child and the older man who were down here, the child actually spoke through him. Kinda creepy, it asked, "why won't you play with me?" He also said that the older man was watching me, wondering what to make of me, apparently not fond of new people. I could see him out of the corner of my eye, especcially(Sp) when he walked away. They know its a poltergiest, and my mate has had scratches from being down there. Yet this time we were unaffected.
He also saw my dragon, which i think is why the spirits stayed at bay.

yeah...I was hoping to avoid this question. I'm gonna be vague here, because it was kinda pesonal. Nothing bad happend, no visions of death or anything. Basicly, I was feeling depressed and I didn't know why. The dream basically just showed me why I was depressed, which helped me cope with it. :-D

...I suppose I should also think about this slightly more logicly, and try to debunk this stuff... :| The unconfortable feeling could just be me, the cold feeling might be bad insulation, the figure could have been my sister, but it was had a sorta whiteish glow about it. (heh, fun word art) the dreams could've been...well, dreams, and the knocks could have been dirt in my register knocking around...kinda a strech on a few... but they could work... :|

The simplest explanation is usualy correct and sometimes "your house is haunted" is the simplest. Especialy if the normal explanation seems to far fetched.
