Supposedly, some guy name Ponce De Leon discovered the Fountain of Youth. Well here is my thing... I spent some time in Puerto Rico. While I was in Old San Juan, I discovered that Ponce De Leon may have left apparent clues to this Fountain of Youth all over Puerto Rico. A lot of these clues though can be found all over Old San Juan, which is where the Fort of Ponce De Leon is. Some of the old churches that the pontiff himself and Ponce were at has clues in these churches. One of the portraits has a map behind it. I know this because while I was there I bought with me my portable black light, and some of the photos has messages in Spanish embedded in the photos. From what I can make out, it appears to be an older form of Spanish. These clues were left behind in the same manner as in the movie The Da Vinci Code, when Jacques Saner' left clue behind.
Death is the beginning of life. Life is the end of death. And only God lies in between the two.

Here is my advice do not find the fountain of youth. Humans can't be trusted with it. Neither can anyone else in my opinion so just let it be hidden. It is interesting but I shudder at the consequences of actually finding such a thing. If we found it there would be war...
If my life is worthless then death must be my currency to spend.

Whoa! That means you won't grow old with fountain of youth? Why war?
Fire in the hole!?

So theoretically, if you drank from the fountain of youth you live forever? So if the world broke out in war and we all offed ourselves, some poor idjet would be wandering around in the wastelands by himself forever? Could you imagine being the only living thing on the planet. How bad would that suck to starve to death?

*~ONE MUST THINK ABOUT A WORLD, ONE WILL NOT SEE~*

Hmm to be 100% honest this is very interesting.

Yes, it is. I have always been interested in this subject.

I could easily be persuaded to live forever, lets face it, even at the speed I collect information I still have a very long way to go.  Suck being the only person?  Hell no it wouldn't, I am secular by nature and the life of solitude would fit me like a glove.  Starve?  Not me, I already have plans upon plans, if the world goes to hell you can be sure that I will not be going along with it.

So wait does the fountain of youth actually restore you to a younger age? Or does it maintain your current age so that you won't get any older? If you drink too much or bathe (however it works) do you become a baby? Even if you are immortal to age, bullets are still going to do the trick.

Now if you get shot and go to the fountain of youth can you get restored to a younger age where the bullet was not there? (This goes back to mechanics of how it actually works, or is believed to work)

Thanks Muerte that cleared it up a little. but no one knows for sure if Wikipedia is right. You won't know until you see it.

Well put and further research has me find that you drink the water in the fountain. This will reverse your aging making you younger. You cannot maintain your current age. However I must say some sources say you can also bathe in the water and some say it doesn't last forever.

I would like to at least know how it really works but keeping this unknown is probably best.

Alas, second hand is so unreliable.  I also doubt that if someone were to find it that they would be very forth comming with its location so our understanding of it will always be limited to myth and here say.

Perhaps we maybe looking at the fountain of youth all wrong. I don't believe you become immortal by drinking of the fountain. Maybe their is longevity in your life span. But to say we would no longer would be subject or susceptible to the regular danger, would be preposterous. Even if someone did drink of the fountain, you'd still could be affected by a bullet. Your skin doesn't somehow become hard as steel like superman.
