What is Behind This Weird Bright Cloud?

Can anyone tell me what is hiding behind this really bright cloud? It was weird since there shouldn't be a light source behind it... I'm sure there is a simple explanation, it is just awesome how nature can play tricks on our eyes at first glance.

I got this footage facing East when the Sun had already set in the West. My wife noticed it when she looked over and saw a super bright cloud by itself and realized the Sun had set behind us already.

Very cool! How did this occurrence happen? The details I can remember are: around 7:30 PM Sunday 9/19/2011, Cloud is due East with the Sun set in the West, a Storm was coming in from the NW, not very windy.
