Actually.... the topic is about an astronomical phenomena - a lunar eclipse coinciding with the winter solstice - and as such has nothing to do with paganism.Just because most pagans celebrate the winter solstice, doesn't turn everything happening at that time of the year into paganism.... or do you consider the celebrations of the birth of Christ pagan, as well? That also coincides with the winter solstice.
Tonight's lunar eclipse is the first time that such an event has coincided with the solstice since 1638.
There is nothing here to denote that it has anything to do with anything pagan. The topic itself does not even indicate anything pagan. In fact anyone pagan would most definitely be lost as to why it was in their section. Seems to me, as it has others that this began as an opportunity to observe the Lunar Eclipse and not as an opportunity to celebrate/worship the moon goddess. MY Moderators decision to move this topic was the correct one in this instance. LadyGriffin, as a matter of fact, moved it before you stated that you were referring to any Pagan ritual so she is in no way at fault for her decision. If there is any fault to be found in this situation it would be yours D.V. as you were not specific in your original posting. Most of the members on this site are not minds readers D.V. In fact most of the members on this site are new and have little to no understanding of the occult. In fact that is why most of them are here (those who are not being the typical R.P. trash) to learn from the more knowing members.
You are a knowing member D.V. In fact you used to hold a fairly high position in this community so YOUR conduct should be a bit better than to question the decisions of the administration. You were once in power friend, but you no longer hold that position. You should remember that when dealing with others on this board. And no I am not warning you D.V., as a former Administrator yourself I should not have to...........should I? You have much to offer the community and I want to see more from you, but I would rather see it demonstrated in a more professional form.
