Mornings? I live in the Northern hemisphere, and the only thing like that I see in the mornings is Venus. You sure that you're not mistaken? And yes, I'm up well before sunrise, and well after sunset.

  So now its venus sized?  Damn I have been looking for something a little bigger, guess I'll have to break out the old tele if I want to see it, anybody want to point me in the right direction?

Depending upon the viewing angle, atmospheric and weather conditions, the atmosphere can slightly magnify the size of objects being viewed. A classic example is people calling in UFO sightings, only to find out that the large, bright light they were looking at in the sky was only Jupiter.

So yes, Venus could, possibly, appear that large.
