A freind of mine ( who is a VERY honest person) told me not too long ago that one day he was walking down the road (we live  in the country on a dirt road) that 5 people where talking on the side of the road, and that when he came about 7 feet from them, that they suddenly turned into "shadows" and flew through him.. he said that it felt like being hit with a 2X4 in the chest... do you think its for real? i trust him.... but have there been anything simallar?

Its a lie. Not only would a Shadow not talk, it would not just form in broad daylight (Im assuming) and talk with eachother. Tell him to stop watching to many movies and to realize when someones dreaming and when someones not.

I dont think Ive ever heard of a Shadow speaking, let alone in english with another.

No I know its been done for its been on tape recorders and it really does sound like a multiple voice death anguish.

But the idea of the talking in the story is not possible so I agree with you there, they cannot talk normally.

I believe that the shadows come from a "Twilight Realm" and they can pass through our world they appear as shadows. When they try to communicate with us it comes out is whispers and sounds like Luffy said. So them appearing as normal people and becoming shadows and attacking your friend in my belief is impossible.

I suppose you may be right, but do you think that they are spirits or just another species of life in the universe? And another strange thing is that we can hardly see them for more then an instant, its like they just move too fast to see with human eyes! Do you think that they are rly trying to communicate with us doh?

Maybe what your friend saw was something other than Shadows. I have seen shadows and the are exactly that. Silhouettes that seem to be 3 Dimensional that move and act like people. (or at least the ones I had seen).  Could he have seen a pack of Demonic Spirits?

Shadows are capable of assuming human form too.  It allows them to spy on humans and feed off the energy obtained from the emotions of the latter.

Do they ever interact with humans in a positive way? They have always been in a negative way when I come acrosss them. (or they me) , Are they inherintly evil?

We dont have any more Shadow experts, they all left. If its written by Shadowling, it will be mostly factual and up to date. Also, Shadows arent evil. They do what they need to survive, just as we do.
