Apocalyptic Treasure hunting
« on: May 04, 2010, 04:06:07 PM »
Alright let us say that a mass cataclysm befell on the earth. There are very few humans left and certain items are up for grabs. I'm wondering if anyone here has a specific item and or location in mind for some "toys". If you still don't quite understand then i'll be blunt: old magick items previously unattainable. Such as those in a museum or expensive and or rare spell supplies such as gold.

Does anyone have certain items in mind or  certain locations?

I would be harvesting many precious metals for spell components.
I am still researching any magick items that might be useful if are located in a museum.

I think it is wise to be prepared for the worst and benefit as much as possible from it.

True, but should the world end and it all goes everyman for himself mad max style. then you'd better be prepared for other looters. FO3.

Well I personally like to use metals with certain aspects of magick . As well as minerals (gems). They serve as excellent energy holders in my opinion as well as magnifiers and other uses as well.
I also have certain plants that I would love to be able to grow. Some of these would be very useful.

If you think about myth and fairy tales they come from somewhere. some spark of truth inspires the stories. I think this is less fantasy then given credit. There might very well be useful artifacts in a museum somewhere.
I know many items of myth that come to mind but I do not know how many actually exist.
Then we must also consider possible items hidden in other items such as scrolls in statues.
