Read the free novel on Monstrous - http://frankenstein.monstrous.com
To know more about the story, book NOW the movie "Gothic", one of my favorite available at Netflix and other popular venues.

reading novels on the comp hurts my eyes and takes way to long

That's right ...
Downloading the whole stuff and print it cost probably more than buying the stuff - a book is always better than a computer file, isn't it ?

I would advise getting the book,i have an old copy of both Frankenstein and Dracula in the same volume, they are both essential to a horror fans library but, some may prefer an audio book or watching a film.

If you read Frankenstien, read The Vampire as well--the first (second? was Carmilla first?) novel about a vampire written at the same party at which Shelly concieved Frankenstein. They go well together.

I love the book. I recommend anyone to read the book. It is very good and worth the read.

Actually you can save the text to your computer and read it as you have time. You can also adjust the text to be bigger or smaller as you need.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is the best version. All the movies that stray from the original story are nowhere near as frightening as the novel.

I agree that no film or tv version has ever done the novel justice. Hopefully one day some producer will decided to do a faithful adaptation of the story.
