I've thought of starting this topic for some time now. Gnosticism is basicly based on Judeo-Christian belief "or the other way around" but to keap it basic, "as a thread starter at least" It is the belief that the universe was created by a less than perfect being. The creater is a benevolent being that simply did the best he could with what he was given to work with. He was refered to as the Demiurge, among other things. As usual, I have left the topic wide open, wheather you know much about the topic or not, if the idea seams interesting, feal free to coment.

I definitely like that sort of belief, because if I did believe in any sort of "supreme being" I wouldn't think it to be anywhere near perfect.
"Intelligence is the flower of discrimination. There are many examples of the flower blooming but not bearing fruit."

"True warriors are humble men"

The idea is certainly in line with my beliefs.
"The cause for aging and death in human types must be using the brain in manners inconsistent with reality.  The reality of nature is whatever it is; perhaps believing it is something other than what it is, is deadly."
