I'm not quiet sure what would happen it depends on the alterations made. However, I'm pretty sure that it would change the whole entire past life starting from that point, maybe for the better, maybe for the worst. I guess it kind of depends.

hmmm but i was always under the impression that viewing past lives put you in third person perspective as you watched the events occur

I would say that there should be an alternate time line created.

A temporal change would result in a paradox...... or a loop, the former ending damaging the fabric of time and the latter would prove that free will is false.

Free will has been proven hasn't it? If it has been thus time travel to change the past is impossible without creating a second alternate time line..... which would then denote that every probability exists and has its own universe......... ad infininum.......

And since we speculate that god exists outside time(& space)..... <^>

“Could an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even that being could not lift it?” If so, then it seems that the being could cease to be omnipotent; if not, it seems that the being was not omnipotent to begin with."

Chew on that for a while...

My philosophy  teacher sez yes. He asked me this question, I'll admit i was stumped at first.
then he turned me to the basic logic.

"God can. Period."
That is to say he can do anything. despite the sheer impossibility of it all.

The negation of impossibility would render it do able the moment he tried. despite the fact  that it was impossible to do.

Kinda like spiral power in the anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan".

besides, now that you think about it. weight is dependent on mass and mass has no real meaning when you remove the concept of gravity. thus when that condition has been met, lifting wouldn't be possible due to the lack of gravity.

Thus yes it is possible. Because he is a cheater as his prerogative. Author's will and all that.
