It wasn't my fault! I blame it on bad timing... However, I almost busted my arse tonight at work by standing on another stool to turn of the A/C cause it was freezing! Yea... that wouldn't have been good, even though I probably would have laughed the whole ambulance ride to the hospital.

Yeah, I fell one time when I tried to sit in one of those doctor's stools that has no back on it. The pneumatic lift was set just a fraction too high, so when I went to sit down, it rolled away instead.

When I wrote the accident report for what happened, I put down, "I failed to negotiate my way onto a wheeled chair at such and such time in such and such place. When this happened, my hold on the vertical position was compromised and the floor came up to meet me."

My Sgt. and Lt. both laughed their asses off at that.

I'm 5'2" and the A/C switch is way above my head... it was either stand on the stool or ask someone really tall... The really tall person was maybe 2 inches taller than me... It was dead at work... and freeeeezing!

Sorry to hear that. Im 6'3" so Ive never had that problem, but I can understand why.

lol That was the tallest person in the store at the time... Besides me it was the only other person in the store :p

Thats not fair, with no legs I wont even be able to climb a stool for out of reach things.

I didn't say I'd bite them all the way off, just right at your knee caps. Plus you probably have; relative to your body, long arms so you'd still be able to stretch for things.

Forearm is about a foot and a couple inches, elbow to shoulder is about a foot, then wrist to end of palm is maybe 5 inches. So yes and no. If youre gonna cut the length of my legs, at the very least could you give me one of those toy claw things? You know, the ones with a long tube, and you squeeze the thing for it to clamp on stuff. Please?

Well yea you like it cause you can help short people, and you hate it cause you probably hit your head on everything. I know this cause my Ex was 6'3" and he had a twin brother who didn't know how to duck.... It's not mean! It's me helping you to preserve braincells from hitting ones head on random unsuspected objects that pop out of nowhere!

Ah, who needs brain cells? They only helps make with the thinking. Me no need thinking. But yeah, I have bumped my head a few times. And getting into a small car is so much fun, head pushed against the top and all.
