The article at the link below presents an interesting observation about potential picture manipulation of the photographs of the Mars Face.

Ive seen this, and all I gotta say is YAY!  :-D  It would confirm all the theories about humans actualy coming from Mars after the galactic shift. I simply luuuuv this stuff!  :-D

Hm, but maybe that is EXACTLY what population needs, something they are not ready for. I personaly dont believe the stuff is hidden for our own good

Would be more inclined to believe that evidence such as this is being covered up until a single party can benefit from it. If NASA released the information right now, how would it help them? what power would it give them?

There are quite a few cases where technological leaps or innovative new forms of technology etc have been linked to possible contact with extra-terrestrials. I remember reading something about fibre optics... If anything this is how evidence would surface, not as some breaking news story by NASA. When the media does get hold of something it's always a leak because that's how they make money. A group like NASA or a government body can make much more money harnessing such knowledge in other ways.

It'll nearly never be about informing the public because they have a right to know. Why Assange is one in a million, in fact look at the commotion he's caused just doing what he's done. Secrets are a valuable commodity because money is power. Interesting though.
When I hear somebody sigh, "Life is hard," I am always tempted to ask, "Compared to what?"

I agree that 96% of humanity is not ready, but hey, look at the world today, do they really deserve the bliss of ignorance any more?

Old Hindu scriptures say that this is the 7th cycle and the last known as 'Kali Yuga', each previous cycle end up with the destruction of a whole civilization (last is recorded as 'the great flood')

It seems that the creator does not allow us to come to close to the Secrets of the Universe: time, death, creation, ...

Kali Yuga (Devanāgarī: कलियुग [kəli juɡə], lit. "age of (the male demon) Kali", or "age of vice") is the last of the four stages that the world goes through as part of the cycle of yugas described in the Indian scriptures. The other ages are Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga and Dvapara Yuga. According to the Surya Siddhanta, an astronomical treatise that forms the basis of all Hindu and Buddhist calendars, Kali Yuga began at midnight (00:00) on 18 February 3102 BCE [1] in the proleptic Julian calendar, or 23 January 3102 BC in the proleptic Gregorian calendar. This date is also considered by many Hindus to be the day that Krishna left earth to return to his abode. Most interpreters of Hindu scriptures believe that earth is currently in Kali Yuga. Some, such as Swami Sri Yukteswar,[2] and Paramhansa Yogananda[3] believe that it is now near the beginning of Dvapara Yuga. The Kali Yuga is traditionally thought to last 432,000 years.

Hindus believe that human civilization degenerates spiritually during the Kali Yuga,[4] which is referred to as the Dark Age because in it people are as far removed as possible from God. Hinduism often symbolically represents morality (dharma) as a bull. In Satya Yuga, the first stage of development, the bull has four legs, but in each age morality is reduced by one quarter. By the age of Kali, morality is reduced to only a quarter of that of the golden age, so that the bull of Dharma has only one leg.

Good point; though I'd revise that estimate to 98% of them not being ready.

Is it any wonder that I love having this one here?

Perhaps people are ready and goverments and religions aren't.  If goverments' and religions' thought systems are what control most people on the planet, and new ideas and discoveries threaten to change those though systems, then governments and religions need more time to figure out how to keep their own brands of thought control over the masses.

96%, 98%, not ready?  IMO those figures better represent those who don't visit sites like this, than the number of folks who can't handle the truth.  I'll bet 1/4 to 1/3 of the people on this planet can handle it.  Religious and Govt type instutions have the most to loose and they're fighting to keep control over the information - I like the possibility of it being more work than they like to do...

It's thought-provoking - and in this sheeple world we live in, that's always a good thing - but hm, well, NASA can't even be relied upon to put a shuttle into orbit around this planet, let alone have carried out detailed surveys of Mars, the results of which they are then concealing. If they are to believed, and I'm not convinced EITHER way, they could put men on the moon in the 60s but in this, the information age, where Joe Public is smarter, more tech savvie, more easily able to monitor activities from his garage or basement, the best that the brightest can do is occasionally orbit Earth...
