It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true. - Oscar Wilde

Okay, so we have SVERAL neighbors cats who absolutely LOVE our garage, one of them, the one who hangs around the most, is a GORGEOUS HUGE ca, wit long, gray & brownish fur. She's just GOT to be a pure bred. & she loves our place so much, she tries to sneak inside with us whenever we have to go out into the garage, she even made it in twice, it broke my heart to have to put her back outside. Then, late at night, she'll come around & beg to come inside trough our glass sliding back door. T_T

So I was just wondering, do any other Monstrous members have animal species in particular that love them, or their home?

I do! I have were squirrels! Of course they're not really were's, that's just what I call them because they are the most hideous, vile and disgusting creatures ever to be put on the face of this earth! They mate twice a year and are all over the place all of the time with their horrible sqwaking. There is a nest somewhere very close to my house, but we haven't pinpointed it yet. There are a couple that are always on the porch and they're not afraid of anything. Many times I've been at the bottom of the porch lobbing rocks and pinecones at them until they go away. Once they attacked a stray dog that was minding its own business walking down the sidewalk. A couple of times when the neighbors weren't looking, my husband took shots at them with his pellet gun. I hate squirrels!

Also, when I was growing up, my dad had a big dog kennel in the back yard. When the dogs died and the kennel and dog house were empty, a three legged mamma cat moved in and had kittens in the dog house.

They attacked a DOG? o.0

Daaang, sounds like you need our garage full of cats to deal with those critters.

Coyotes really like me.
Around here the coyotes are pretty fierce since there's not much food, but for some reason those crazy little swampdogs won't bug me when I'm out in the woods on my own. I've seen 'em plenty of times too, and every time they just walk toward me, look at me a little bit, and walk away.

Maybe it's because they know, for all their fangs and fierceness, I could still give 'em a good ol' wallop and put the fear of God in their mangy little hearts

Do house flies count? Ever since construction begun on a large apartment complex close to my parent's place, their house has become a popular haunt for these garbage loving bugs. As of now, they're making themselves very comfortable in the kitchen.

OH MAN blow fly, I know exactly what you're talking about!!! At my Grandparents place, they have this back porch patio thing, right up against this golf field, & these huge flies just LOVE it. You go to sit out their, & over 20 of them try to swarm you. o.0

But the cool thing is, is that because of them, all these awesome little lizards live at my Grandparents to eat them. :-D

Yes Regina! Please send over your army of cats to save me from the wrath of the hideous rabid squawking squirrels!  :-D

I have birds. Plenty of birds. I hate a male and a female dove that like to hang around. There is also this mockingbird, that used to torture my cat jerry. He would be lying in the grass, and the bird wouold watch him. Then it would dive down and grab his tail and try to lift him off the ground and it would also peck at him. It was soooo funny to watch. I wish I could have recorded it. Now jerry won't lay out in the sun, unless he has shelter to protect  him from that crazy mockingbird! LOL
Insanity is a fun state of mind. I can amuse myself and have my friends wanting to get me a straight jacket and a padded room.

Regina Terra

I'd try to mail them off to you leshy, but the owners might sue me for it. Even though I bet a hundred bucks anybody on this forum would take way better care of them than those idiots. Even the ones on here who hate cats. These people just own them for the bragging rights of having a pure bred. T_T

& dang, that's one freaking brave bird christy, most cats can take down birds as big as bluejays & ravens. I should know, my fat, lazy, female cat back in my old state left a dead bluejay on our front porch, then got made at me when I had ti bury the poor thing. *<:)

Cats can be dangerous, even to an animal four times their size. It's a fact that my dog understands well. Although he takes great pleasure in chasing them into corners, he's careful to never approach them so closely that he's in a position where his eyes are vulnerable to their claws.

Thats smart. My dog plays with my cat, they dont mind being together...and they're both the same size, so it works out.

My cats are so freaking arrogant. My dog will be growling at them, all her fur up and fangs showing, but they just ignore her and continue eating her food.

I always have cats showing up at my house. I don't know where they come from, but they all seem to be strays. The most recent cat is always trying to slip into the house when people walk in.

There is also this mockingbird, that used to torture my cat jerry.

We had a bird like that hanging around our house for about two weeks. He would always dive bomb our cats whenever they were out in the open. My cat was determined to catch it and I think he finally did because the bird suddenly disappeared.

Regina Terra

YES!!! My Mom has officially given up the fight of denying the gorgeous cat entry to our house. ^.^

She is just sooo darn stubborn, she adopted us an she refused to give up the fight until we admitted to ourselves that we belong to her. So my Mom just gave up, she's free to come and go as she wills now.

Congrats on the new addition Regina. Get her to the vet quickly though, there are a number of things she could be carrying that could be transmitted to you or other pets.  :focus: I have snakes. Any time I walk near a snake wild or caged, it comes towards me. I have an 8' 6" python that actually acts as a bodyguard for me. I used to walk him around the neighborhood when he was 6' & if a stranger approached me he would position himself between me & the person so his face was at strike range to them. Also sharks. Everytime I go diving I see at least 3. The three shark dives I've done had the best turn out the company had seen everytime I was in the water. My beau is nicknamed the turtle pimp because anytime he is around turtles if they can mate, they do. We went to a pet store & as he was standing in front of a pair they started & the store manager was so excited because they had been trying for 4 years to get the pair to mate.
