Chiller channel

After thinking about it for a long, long time we decided to switch from cable to Direct TV/satellite tv.

One of the perks is the Chiller channel there.

It has a lot of classic horror programs;  Twin Peaks, American Gothic, Alfred Hitchcock Presents (both old and new), Night Gallery, Werewolf, Tales from The Crypt, Tales from the Darkside, Monsters...plus many more.

So far I'm enjoying the channel.  The only drawback is that they can only get some of the episodes of these shows.  Apparently the factor preventing them from getting all of them is the music rights.  The rights to some of the music in some programs has expired and the studios don't want to pay to renew them.  So certain episodes have been pulled from the run.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents, for instance, can only show the first two seasons.

Still I'm enjoying the channel.  Like I used to with SciFi channel before the dumped all the classic programs for their more modern day stuff.
