I havent been useing crystals all that long but i use 12 main crystals, they seem to cover any aspest you are lookin for:

What do you mean by project, you can't be serious that you're going to fight goblins and trolls. What have they done to you?

they haven`t done anything to me at all i am just looking for anything aboyt them. I am collecting all sorts of info. and it`s a very challenging project for me as this is my first time doing anything from the fantasy world. Also with all the info I have gathered I am going to turn it into a novel.Just researching.

Do you mean real magical items, or RPG..? If your looking for real magical things you're not going to get uber magical staffs that shoot flames out of them.

RPG. The info like I said before is for a very challenging project I am working on. My eldest son would like nearly every creature in the story so it`s going to be tough for me as I have never written about fantasy or magic before.

In that case i would research into the games such as Balders Gate or Warcraft, that wouldnt help. Just read up on their game FAQs 

That shud sort you out for magical stuff and also give you some cool ideas for inventing creatures too.

You can't just take weapons from games, there are copyrights. Also, you should just make your own, it would sound more original, just don't go over board.

its not exacly my field, but i have to say i find it rather offensive that you refer to it as "the fantasy world". Nex time, just say the supenatural; its less insulting.

When you say the world 'supernatural' images of ghost, demons, and vampyres come to mind. Fantasy, I do agree should be only to give a movie a genre. The only word that I can find that can describe King Arthur, Faeires, dragons, and other mythological creatures is 'magical'. Though supernatural describes anything that is beyond natural, I feel it just does not apply to these subjects.

When you encounter a ghost or see a UFO you have a feeling of curiousty and morbid need to find out more and more about what you saw. But when you encounter a magical being you understand, and you don't understand. You have a feeling through your entire body of peace, and some kind of love. Your hair stands up in a warm feeling and a feel like you are standing in a field in the middle of spring with the sun flowing slowly on your neck, and bells ringing in your ears ever so gently.*  After you realize they're gone, you are okay. You don't need to know more about what you saw, because what you saw is what it is. The very figure of the thing you saw explained itself.


The word supernatural just does not apply to things of this subject.


*It depends if what you are seeing is malevolent or benevolent. If it's malevolent, the feeling is totally different...
