So it's not so much a 'AH! HELP MEH!' kind of thing, but I was just curious... what would you all do in this situation? Or your opinions, that works too.


So, I've noticed for the past few days, I have had something following me and watching me. It doesn't enter my home normally because... I don't know... maybe my emergency-ward-in-a-box that I made and have sitting next to my bed? Well, it follows me out to the car every time I go out there and it will go with me to where I am going. Lately, that has been work.

Well, yesterday, my general manager--who is skeptical as hell when it comes to this stuff--randomly started talking, asking 'who just went back there?' and 'if you don't tell me right now, I'm going to fire you'. Well, he sent me to go look and there was nothing there. I shrugged it off to a sick old man's eyes playing tricks. Then, there was something on the cameras that were moving around. No one could have done it cause we were all up front, as we were the first time as well. A rush later, I see something. I didn't ignore it as a corner of the eye thing. I turned and went after it. I came into the area where the syrups for the drinks were stored and no one was there. I listened for any sounds that weren't normal for that place. (After almost a year, I've come to recognize them pretty well) but there was nothing. I discarded it as me just seeing my hair out of the corner of my eye and went back to work. That's when the touching started.

The manager on shift (the GM was working kitchen cause we were down one) said he kept feeling like something was poking his knee. I told him he should see a doctor to see if it was a medical problem. He said he had knee issues but they didn't feel anything like that. I frowned only for a moment then told him his leg was going to fall off and that was just the screw coming loose. He laughed and he didn't mention the problem again. The fountain kept looking over her shoulder as if someone was touching her. A few times, she was grabbing her hair and turning. I asked her what was up, and she said someone was pulling her hair. This is where I started to get really confused because with so many sitings and now physical interaction, it shouldn't be happening. Not in one day. I tried to 'feel' around and see if I could get one of my guides to answer my questions and be my eyes when my arm started burning at the elbow; like someone was holding it.

A little freaked, I did a quick 'healing' on the spiritual level and the pain went away. I don't know if it was just timing or what, but either way, it got me worried. It was at the end of my carhop shift and just before costume work that made me sure it was something causing problems instead of just natural occurrences. Anyone who knows me knows I have a bad knee. It is agitated by high impact activity, long continues walking / running, a bad turn on it, or direct impact to it. They also know I always wear a knee brace and this generally stops it unless I am walking around a place like Helen GA for 16 hours... then it's bad no matter what I do. ANYWAY! It was just a five hour shift as a carhop today so I should have been perfectly fine. I felt something hit the side of my knee and I almost fell into the steel table. I grabbed the edge of it and the counter at the same time and managed to make it look like I was plopping down into the stool to take off my skates. The manager looked at me and asked me if I was ok.

I wasn't going to tell him I just got "astroly" socked in the knee so I said I wasn't suppose to be scheduled for costume and carhop in the same day. He said he'd talk to the schedule person about it and that was that. The events stopped in the store but I started to get a buzz from high amounts of energy around me. In the costume, in freezing weather, I had sudden lightheaded bursts that couldn't have resulted in over heating (for, again, it was freezing and I was dressed just enough to be stable and resist the cold) or blood sugar for I ate before I went out in costume. They sent me home early cause of the weather and my hobbling. When I got into the car (of which the heater core went out so there is no heat) I was burning up. I checked myself for a fever and concluded it wasn't so. I bundled up anyway, figuring if this was an attack upon my person, that I wasn't going to let it get to me.

On the drive home, I spotted figures in my rear view mirror but ignored them. Imagination, I convinced myself. I got home, and turned around and then I started to hear the whispers. I don't know if anyone else can attest to this, but... have you ever been to a place of familiarity and noticed it was off? Physically, nothing changed, but you just know something either happened in it or something/someone was in it that wasn't suppose to be there? Well, I got that feeling when I entered and noticed that my (soon-to-be) mother-in-law was in the shower. I kept a charade up that I was feeling normal. I went to each room in the house while I had a chance...

Neither my Mother-in-Law's room or Brother-in-Law's rooms were tampered with. The bedroom I share with my fiance, on the other hand... anything in the room I had charged with my personal energy was neutralized or corrupted. My ward was shattered and something was lying in wait. I didn't sleep soundly, but when I woke, it was gone. I did a check of the house once more, and nothing was different from the night before.

I'm extremely unsettled by this. I mean, my defenses are normally top notch to where I can waltz into a high-activity location, with my sensitivity to spiritual personality influences (what I call it cause it's not a full possession but it's not all me) and be fine. Well, ok, I get a little sick cause of the high input of energy but that's it. Not to mention, the fact it got past my entourage of guides is beyond me and makes me ill as all get-out. I don't know... anyone have any advice?

Ordinarily when I read things like this I do a little poking around, psychically of course, and find out it's nothing, or nothing truly serious.

This time though, whatever you have there tried to attack me. You may want to tell it that on subsequent visits from me it should be more respectful; or I'll show it what a real attack is like. Also, I will continue to poke around, see what I can see. Whatever it is it's obviously intelligent, and that rules out practically the whole list of possibilities.

Try making a twelve-pointed star, and imbuing it with whatever magical wards you like, and keep it on you at all times. We'll see what that does.

Hmm. I take it you don't know what "it" is, yet? Have you been able to narrow it down to a few things? Could help a bit. Sounds stalkerish. >.<
If it were me, that is the first thing I would do - attempt to figure out what the thing is in the first place, and then go towards what I'd have to do to eliminate the problem.

Work on strengthening your shields ASAP. This is clearly a negative entity although which kind I haven't been able to determine. Like Moloch I did a little poking around & what I saw looked, for lack of a better description, like its wearing something like a hoodie but it is surrounded by darkness, almost a part of it. The brief glimpse I got of face was humanish but not totally inhuman. Whatever protection you can put up around yourself & possibly those in your vicinity would be a big help in the work place. I also carry sea salt or rock salt with me when I have feelings like this. I put it around my house & any time I get the feeling I throw a pinch in that direction. It's not fooproof but it can help settle things down a bit.

Normally my shields are amazing. I mean, I've dealt with things messing with me for as long as I remember. My guides normally b-slap anything that looks at me funny... I'll work on them some more though... who knows? Maybe something put a hole into them? I throw down some circles and wards again and try to put some oomph behind them with some empowerment from my mates. I'll set some salt out too. The only thing that makes it hard for me to do that is that not everyone knows about my... uh, powers for lack of better terms. I'll see if I can get the fountain I work with to help me... she seems interested in understanding what it's like.

Just to give you a small look into my protection/charm/whatev system beyond my normal shields...

I wear 3-5 necklaces a day each with their own special charm on them. The three I normally wear are a turtle necklace with a seashell center (protection, enhances water element which is my element, my own charm is a heightened focus on energies around me), A medallion that belongs to my friend that promotes peace of mind and mental clarity (has some kind of tree bark in it, personal charm of warding off ill will), A double charmed necklace with a key and a cross within a heart with a dragon around it (Key: Information retrieval / understanding ; the other is protection from possession and influences outside of my own choices). The other two I wear only when threatened is an anch (sp?) that is charmed for more oomph in any metaphysical fights I get in and one I'm currently charming that is a pendulum that is some kind of gem stone and it's being charged to back-fire harm towards me.

I wear two bracelets, the first is a silencing charm so that way I can tune out the spirits when I need to; and the second I am working on for protection. I have two rings I wear; one is for warding off negativity and the other is to enhance ritual effects. All items named thus far are made of silver, save for the last bracelet which is silver and gold with diamonds. One ring has a ruby in. I even went as far as to charm my glasses! (Can you tell I like working with charms?) I had a hematite necklace that was made purely of hematite and copper wire but the clasp (which is a screw-together clasp) continued to come undone until it was lost. I would wear it to sleep and one day I noticed it was gone.

Whatever it was went as far as to remove every charm I placed on them and put something else on them. I touch them now and I begin to have burning sensations and it's starting to tick me off... it takes me a week for each charm to be placed on it for instant results unless it's a rush job, then it needs refreshing every now and again... :/

I have a similar issue with having things out in my house. The salt I put outside at the corners of the house as well as every door & window, no one notices it & it works quite well. I normally charge it through one complete moon cycle starting at the new moon. Water can also be blessed this way. Also putting a moonstone or quartz placed in water under the light of the moon for a week is as easy thing to carry & has a little extra oomph added to the natural properties of the stone.

  True, though in this case that is not the important part.  What is important is what it does and that is repelling negative energies.  What I want is for you to carry a piece, your other half should as well.  Do this and see if you "Fan" keeps its distance or if it can come closer than what you feel comfortable.  Also you can add a simple piece of quartz to it as it is a protective stone but it also has a secondary ability to enhance other stones in performance.

Well, Countess' description helps narrow it down a lot. T'would appear to me that you have picked up one of two things; a negative spirit, or an astral traveler of some power.
