Perhaps, but I know for a fact that a guy on an acid trip who believes he can fly.... can not..... nor dose he bounce :-D
Believe is power, it can give power or take power away, there is no doubt in my mind of that. But on what scale? That is the question I would like to have the answer to.
I know everyone has heard the old "If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it, dose it make a sound?" Our logic says Yes, ofcourse it dose, but if no one observes the sound did it matter? There for it did not exist? There is a more interesting question on the subject that is actually discussed in colleges regarding a cat that is put into a box, then dies. The debate regards the true state of the cat untill it is observed.
wait... what was I talking about.. oh well, it will come to me. Im sure I was working on a point there :-D

We had the Cat thing on our philosophy test. Until the box is opened, and we have seen otherwise, the cat is in there just as we placed it.
( The final question on that same test was Why? ...you'd be amazed how many people got it wrong! )

Actually I wouldnt. My faith in the general public has been on a constant downward spiral for years.

I understand that, for sure.
The videos basically just go through quantum theories that surround thought. You can change reality, by believing or thinking it...
We had to go over something done by Dr. Masaru Emoto in philosophy, which is repeated in one of the videos about Ice crystal formations.
The idea there, is that the ice will take a shape that reflects the thought it is being subjected to. As in, heavy metal music that gets played, will create an erratic formation, where as ( I think classical ) creates a beautiful clear pattern.
Naturally, we went over Plants and Greenhouses, because of this, as well.

What results did you notice with the plants?

Plants with Techno music, and being read a boring documentary paragraph died within a week or so. Metal music was played in one, they grew tall but were all flimsy and wilted. No music was played in another one, and they weren't really all that impressive.
The group of plants we played soft nature sounds and classical music to were amazing! Their flowers were bright and healthy, and their stems were sturdy but they seemed like they were leaning towards the speakers. We read children's books, too.

They did simmilar experiment with water, and got totally different crystals of ice when played diff types of music and words:

Its hard to count an experiment like that, seeing that the properties of the various sound waves given off will be what affects these things the most.

Right, it's a good point. We didn't have the right equipment in the classroom, but we did some research on people that have used varieties of tests with the same results, and we did our best to replicate them.
"The shapes, figures and patterns of motion that appeared proved to be primarily a function of frequency, amplitude, and the inherent characteristics of the various materials. He also discovered that under certain conditions he could make the shapes change continuously, despite his having altered neither frequency nor amplitude!"
