Okay, so I have a bit of proposition to make...more of an experiment, really. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to try it with me, and report on your experiences? It's no huge thing, just a different type of meditation. It involves syncing the two halves of the brain, then shifting the mind (conscious awareness) into the heart, thus syncing Heart and Mind. But, it must be practiced in stages. Let's say at least 3 days a week for two weeks per stage?
Use whatever body position/posture is most comfortable for you, but make sure that your back is straight, and remains so throughout the stages/techniques. And if you can, either sit/lay in a completely dark room, or cover your eyes. Either way make sure that NO light can be seen behind your eyelids.
Okay, so the techniques/stages:
Stage 1) Shift your awareness up and in, to your pineal gland (which is in the center of the brain, at the level of your 3rd eye). This is the physical organ from which your 3rd eye emanates. Once your awareness has shifted, imagine alternating layers of counter-rotating energy shields surrounding the pineal gland ( clockwise & anti-clockwise across, around, up, down, and diagonally up & down). Enter the pineal gland and see what developes (visions, images, etc). This will cause the two hemispheres of your brain to be in sync with each other. Don't analyze anything while in the meditation, save that for after you are don with the session. Just experience with out judgement.
Stage 2) Shift your focus to you heart level (it may be best if you used the 13 chakra system as a guide [url]http://www.onehealsone.co.uk/13chakras.php?cid=5[url], if you are going to use this system, shift focus to the Middle Heart Chakra). Find the space in your heart that is still, calm and quiet. Enter that space and feel. Again, don't analyze or judge, just feel.
Stage 3) Repeat stage one to the point where you enter into the pineal gland, and settle there for a moment. From here, shift your focus to your Heart (Middle Heart), and enter the quiet space. Experience. Don't analyze. Don't judge.
If you wish to continue from there after completion of the stages, let me know and maybe we can come up with some things that we can do from this state.
