Fourth Who, New Sarah Due
SCI FI Channel has acquired the fourth season of Doctor Who and its hit spinoff series The Sarah Jane Adventures from BBC Worldwide America. Both series are slated to premiere on SCI FI in April.
The Sarah Jane Adventures is written and produced by the same creative team behind Doctor Who, including multiple-award-winning writer Russell T. Davies. The series centers on Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), former companion to the Doctor, who investigates offbeat mysteries with her young friends Maria, Luke and Clyde.
The fourth season of Doctor Who, meanwhile, brings back star David Tennant as the 10th Timelord, joined by a new companion, Donna Noble (Catherine Tate), who reprises her role from the previous Christmas special. The Doctor's previous companion, Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), also makes a triumphant return in the middle of season four.

Word is that Rose Tyler will make a reappearance during season 4 as well.
-
That will make for a interesting episode
I am still hoping that David Tenant does not leave the show, what do you think of Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) being the new companion?
She is not eye candy like Martha :-P
-
She will be definitely different than Martha or even Rose.
I think the relationship between Donna and the Doctor will have more friction than he had with his previous companions.
-
That is true
Should make things interesting for season 4 :-D
-
I suspect the relationship will be closer to that of Peri Brown and the Colin Baker Doctor.

There are still reports that David Tennant will not return for a fifth season. Some say he's insisting on doing a Who theatrical film in order to do a fifth season. Other rumors are that Sean Pertwee may replace him. Sean is the son of Doctor #3 Jon Pertwee.
