I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw on tv as a kid. I was hoping that somebody here could help as the rest of the web thinks I've lost my mind. I don't have much info to give you, just bits and pieces really, but here goes...
I saw it at the house of a kid who had a new toy AT-AT (Empire Strikes Back) so it was around that era.
It had to do with a guy and a chick crashing their helicopter in the jungle (South America?) due to loss of hydraulic fluid. (this is important)
Whilst rummaging through the bushes they come across some human-sized dinosaur looking critters who seem to be heII-bent on eating all the extras.
In one scene in perticular, a native looks over a bush and a dino-dude grabs his face and rips it off. (cool)
Some how, the hero and chickie come across a case of cooking oil (Mazola I think) and use it to fix the helicopter. (told ya it was important)
As they are flying off, hero dude tells chickie to get something out of the back of the chopper and, yep, you guessed it, dino dude grabs her hand!
Fade to credits.
Could one of you PUH-LEESE helpl me find the name of this flick? Sorry I can't give you more info but this is all the old noggin can dredge up. Thanks!
