[Angelus]

What do you think is the greatest paranormal TV show ever and why? This can include anything from The Real Ghostbusters to Tales From The Crypt. No one judge. We all have different tastes. OK. Judge a little. Would be no fun otherwise. I shall start.

Mine is Angel. I grew up in the height of Buffy TVS popularity. Everyone watched it. When Angel went evil and became Angelus, that made my bloody day. Great character and was pure badass. When Angel got his own darker and grittier spin-off I couldn't say no. Watched it intently wondering when the main title character was gonna go back to the dark side. Discovered it was so much better when he didnt revert to Angelus but just went crazy while still with his soul. Aah, memories. I also loved Freddys Nightmares. It rocked.

Freddys nightmares was a cool show, Friday the 13th was ok too, I also liked  The prophecy, that was probably my favorite.

I have a couple favorites.

X-Files.....The first few seasons, before it degraded.

Twilight Zone......"To Serve Man" will always be my favorite.

Garth Merenghi's Darkplace. Hilarious show.

Supernatural  and GH,GHI are mine

So far I havnt heard a bad show. Well..... Not a fan of Charmed. Nothing particular about it. Just not my cup of tea. Anyone watch that Vampire High that used to be on. It was so awful it rocked.

Dark Shadows, I realy cant remember anything much about it, but I saw a collection of that series the other day and almost bought it, anyone seen it, how was it?

Dark Shadows...one of the great cult classics of all time IMO, me and quest are fans of this show

It is basically a horror soap opera, and still has a large following to this day (me included)

There was full feature movie made also

Talk is there is one being made and Johnny Depp is cast as Barnabus Collins (the vampire)
now I am not a fan of Johnny Depp, but with the characters he has played...he would fit the bill for playing him...and do it well IMO

I have collections 1-10 so far 


They remade the series in 1991 with a new cast but it did not do well

I remember that, it wasnt too bad from what I remember.

I think the Dark shadows collection I saw was the 91 version, Ill probably end up buying it, it looked interesting.

I like both of the ghost hunter showes prety good, paranormal state is alright too,

Monster Hunter was amazing. I think it was called Destination Truth in the states. Dont know why we got the dumbed down name. lol.

 If cartoons count, does anyone remember "Ahh! Real Monsters" on Nickelodeon??  I freaking looooved that!! If I could find the seasons I'd snap 'em up!
 
 I'm a huge fan of GH too. TAPS rocks! I like GHI too, but I don't think it's as good.
