All who have read my topic "Believing" know that I might be having some Faery experiences. You have read that I have had dreams interacting with them, seeing them, and hearing them. I have the "7 pointed star" over my bed to help with the ones that are protecting me as far as I could tell, but last night it got rough, very rough. I went to bed at midnight after watching Family Guy. I'm laying in bed and the clock hits 12, I feel a strong pressence in the room, it was uncomfortible but not evil. I put my head under the covers to to be frightned. (something I have done sense I was very young.) I curled up into a balland the blankets puffed about me. I had music playing so I couldn't hear anything.

Then my body was gripped with the WORSTE fear I have ever had. I had a feeling of being watch. There was a weighto n the bed as if something was sitting on the bed next to me. The blankets around me were pushed down slowly onto my legs. I started to have a cold sweat. I turned off them music and started to say my prayers, hoping the pressence and the fear would go away, I said Our Father and Hail Mary, but nothing happened. After awhile the weight on the bed went away. But it didn't end their. I heard a soft mumbling from above me. As if someone were talking to another person. They spoke in a very strange langauge and I couldn't understand. Then I got a feeling as if tiny fingers were poking my legs. I twitched my feet and the poking stopped. More mumbling. I started to say very quitely; "In the name of Jesus Christ leave me alone!" The pressence felt like it backed up a bit. I then said "Jesus, Mary, God, any of you please help me." The pressence started to back away. But it didn't go away, I had to deal with this fear and pressence till I went to sleep. I woke up several times with a small feeling of being watched but I soon went back to sleep.

I woke up this morning TERRIFIED to get out of bed. I was scared to see ugly little men running away when I moved or something. (I didn't see this, was thinking I might though I was so scared and my brain is still out there.) I woke up only because I could tell my sister was outside the door. I ran out of bed and opened the door and asked my sister if I could get on to post these so I could get help ASAP.

They could be demons, but with all my Faery experiences and the way the didn't back down after saying prayers and names they could Goblins. Its a bit more likely since the seven pointed star is a "portal to the Otherwolds" according to folklore.

I know what I suffered last night wasn't sleep peralyse because I could move, talk, and twitch.

(Sorry for the terrible grammar, I'm tired and still a bit shacken. Please help me my friends I fear going back to bed tonight.)

it seems horseshoes and copper is supposed to keep away the dark fairies...you could also try leaving out milk, honey, bread or other...offerings.

if you've been working with them, have you been leaving tiny thank yous...it's said they don' t like being thanked for things they've done, but they do like a bit of treat, i'm not sure really it's been a long time since i've done anything with the wee folk.  part of the problem of losing touch with nature i think.   

i looked into my how to live with fairy folk by marina t. stern and she  mentions "surrounding yourself by friendly happy folk and treat them well, the folk are scrupulously just, by their own measure of justice and will not countenance mistreatments of their favorites"  so perhpas regaining contact with the friendly female you've had previous contact with my help...

when you attract the friendlier sort, they dark elves are rarely behind, from what i've read they are not hurtful, but do not like humanity for what's been done to their environment, but if they've been noticing other activity around you,  they are equally as curious s their less frightening counterparts..that could explain why they were poking you, if they are awfully curious, the fear comes from their dislike of humanity, (sort of the feeling you get when going into a dark basement or a deep polluted pond).  maybe they're just trying to figure out why their brighter brethren like you?...being a silly human living in their world.

try making friends.

I have left out some candy and a thing of water and have said thank you in the past. But the thing that I felt sitting on my bed was definatly nota normal one. It had the diameter of maybe a backetball and had the hight of maybe two and a half feet. The ones I have seen are normally very small. The weight went away after I moved my legs a bit though.

I'll see if I can find any of the materials to keep them away from me while I sleep. I told my sister and she believes me, though she doesn't believe in Faeries. She even got the star and ripped it up. I also have heard noises coming from my room. Like digging around in stuff or flowing paper. Nothings wrong when I come in though.

I also got the feeling in the garage when getting a drink. We have a large section that we don't use that is filled with our olf furniture. The size of it is about the average bathroom. (Shower and sink.) And if you were about the size of a squirrel it would look like a series of tunnels and caves put away by all sunlight. (The window is blocked by a very large table and no sunlight reaches it unless we open the door or turn on the lights.

I didn't hear any talking but I got the same feeling I did last night and it wasn't because I was alone, my sister and mom were right outside the door in the kitchen. The feeling becomes stronger when I go near the closed off section.

Okay the problem seems to have turned down and stopped. I got some help via PM and got the supplies nessicary to stop them. I sprinkled salt around all exits in my room, put pennys around the bed and on the bed, and put a hunk of iron by my bed. I said my prayers, and slipped into the covers. I heard some quit whispers and a bit of poking but I said I wasn't afraid of them and everything stopped. The pressence left the room and I havn't seen or felt them at all today.

I'm sorry I was gone yesterday and wasn't here to offer help, but it seems as if things have quieted down for you right now.

I hope it stays that way, but I want you to remember how the 'presence' backed off when you called on God.

I do, every time I see something in the corner of my eye. (It sometimes looks like a toad, but with some human feeatures and a bit hairy in places.) I stick my tounge out at them and tell them to leave me alone in the name of God or Jesus. They normally either back off or just turn around. My room is protected though because of all the things I've put in and they can't enter because of the salt. But I want to keep this unlocked because something might happen.

sometimes i miss that fear, it keeps you on edge and alert, but the dreams always seem to be there.   

What kind of dreams? I have read that Goblins can make nightmares out of glossamar and cause dreams of being chased.

They didn't bring the fear back but they were coming up on the bed and sitting on my legs and poking me from above the blankets and pushing the blankets over my head and just being annoying. When the preassure came over my legs I kicked my legs and they fell off, but they poked me back. I didn't here any talking, but I heard some hissing. This is odd, because all my items that are supposed to repel them are still here, but some of the pennys were on the floor. I was being kind to them before bed and talking to them politely and telling them when I was coming in and out of my room just to see if they were there and to see if I could possibly make peace. But then my back waas pinched very softly, but enough for me to cover the spot where it was and rub it.

I said my prayers to and out loud this time, but they did not back off and just poked me more. This time on my bed feeling how the preassure was there was more than one. (One at left hand corner near the window, one on my legs, and another by back.

What now should I do when iron, salt, and prayers can't keep them away from me?

figure out where your strength is and use that to repell them, what have you done differently that they are no longer concerned with  you?

I don't think demons would show up on a camera, and if they are goblins they are invisble to the mortal eye and most other mortal tools.
