Games.

We play various card games, a few board games, domino type games.  Most of the time the adults are imbibing a few choice beverages which makes the games much more amusing.  A really good party game (and a good family game too) is called apples to apples.

Each player get seven red cards that contains various nouns from historical people and time to movie stars to general object.  One is designated the first juge who pulls a differnt type of card that has an adjective or adverb on it like monstrous.  You search your hand for the most monstrous card you think the judge would agree to and lay it face down on the table.  The judge picks up the cards and decides which noun card is the closest and the player who laid down the noun card gets the adj. card.  The first on to get seven adj cards wins.  The main point of the game is to predict, based on the cards in your hand, what the judge will pick as the closest representation of the adj. card.   Add alchol to the mix and look out.

As far as I know you can only buy this game at Target.
