Title: Weird talk on my TV
Post by: Nina on March 13, 2011, 04:35:35 AM
K, i dunno where to put this, but for last three days my digital tv antenna seems to catch some weird signal. Its like someone is talking, but when they do its constant rant and i cant say on what language. Its not on mine, which would be most likely, its like rant, but then it just stops after 10 am. I have no clue what it is, never heard it before and i dunno how to record it and maybe place it here for someone smarter to say wth is it. Any ideas?  :|

Is it set from a select time and always end at 10? Could it be interference of someone doing a short-ranged broadcast of some kind?

That would be my first guess, but the words are very weird, the way its being talked is like there is no pauses between the words at all.

have you been doing any ritual or spell or just read an occult book or something at the time that it started?(this is just a question)

and how old is the TV? it may mix something up!

I hate to jump to Supernatural reasons. Seriously, the only reason we break things down first this way is because you can't blame everything on the preternatural; it's like saying sneezing happens because demons live in your nose. By giving someone advice, it's easy to put them in a dangerous position if it doesn't help the situation.

You said you don't know the language; do you have any foreign neighbors? Plenty of them use dishes to channel international television shows. And believe me when I say many foreign languages are spoken with hardly any pauses. ;)

Dont worry, im not in danger to follow advices i wouldnt give ;) Besides, house is sanctified, as a catholic family (read mom XD) we get priest at least once a year sprinkle holy water all over (last time specialy me, gee what a prick  "no, i dont melt under river water"  <^> ). And honestly, do u seriously believe i ever thought that was demon work?   :-o I may have a tinfoil hat on my head, but still like to search the more mundane reasons behind this ;)

It sounded most like english. Was listening real hard today, resembles military code, which is even more weird then possible demon mischief. Could recognize words CHICAGO AND ALPHA. Shouldnt military be more careful about their waves and all?  Specially in foreign country.

Military wouldn't be doing something like that. Alpha refers to the letter A, but C is Charlie so I don't know where Chicago would have come from. It's probably someone broadcasting for shyt and giggles like the military.

I was in the military until I was discharged for my knee. It might be someone playing Military and mistaking Charlie for Chicago. *shrug*

That would make sense if i lived in english speaking area, which im not, and i really doubt my neighbors are so into playing military too, we had war here few years back....

Ill try and record it, only way u know what im talkin about.

Hope im not necroing this too much. but it was on the front page of "Mayday" :P

The whole thing with whitenoise is mostly due to bad signal and the millions of UHF broadcasts and FM broadcasts that intervene eachother in some way. I'm no expert but my dad is :) So i know atleast something about this tv business.

Satellite could aswell be the case but mostly if its an analog set. The digital usually doesn't stray due to the high hz frequency. But if it did, then surely something like you experienced Nina, could happen. :)

But this could just be like when i hear something mumble out of my right ear. I sometimes, but very rarely, hear someone calling for me. Like a soft whisper way into the distance, not originating in my head at all. Then i go out looking and find someone actually needing my help but wasnt sure if he/she should call me so soon.

But in your case Nina, it seems a bit more sinister if its of supernatural origin, since its mostly just someone there to spook you. But why be scared, really. :)

If this has continued and perhaps grown worse, i'd recommend seeking out some professional in this matter.
Like a cable-guy.. :P

Take care Nin :)
