Hello, I am requesting help for a friend because she is to stubborn to do it herself. I have a full report on this, I will be able by the end of the day.

Alright, sorry it took me so long. So down to business. Heres what she sent me, She has lived in this new house for 2 years now. The entire area where she lives in is Naples Italy, its heavily populated except for a field next to her home that is blocked off by a giant metalic fence. She's always been fascinated with it, she said she finds herself looking at it more and more. She has been contacted by 3 spirits, these 3 encounters have only happened when the sliding glass door to her balcony has been left open to her bedroom which overlooks the field. The first contact was a man like figure standing in her room. She said she woke up to confront it, but it just faded away. She said it seemed like it was trying to communicate. She didnt feel anything hostile, she then attributed this to her imagination, the second time she was aware that it was not her imagination, a giant balck dog or wolf was sitting and looking at her, she woke up and stared at it, she said it was so real and physically manifested. She said she didnt feel threatend by this one either, but she felt it was trying to communicate something to her through its eyes. Shortly after her fiance's father died, and once again she said she felt like the black dog was trying to watch over her or warn her of something. She only felt good intentions from it. This third entity she said was distinctly unfriendly and angry. She said she woke up to a giant claw attached to a cord choking her and scratching at her chest. She said she woke up instantly telling it to leave her alone or else. She said it slowly slinkered away into her closet through the wall. She said she then turned on the lights, and she found books and pilloes out of place like it had pulled them of her bed. She also stated in her message the this sort of thing has happened to her on 4 seperate times in her life. She wants to communicate to these things, but I told her she shouldnt try it. I havent recieved any dates or times from her yet, I will get them for you. Also pertaining to this, that same field she was talking about, she rescued 3 kittens form it which died shortly after, she then barried them I think close to that field.

Hm, this sounds very interesting. In her place, id do a research on the history of the area. Sometimes it takes a lot of digging (sort of speak) but it can reveal a lot about why some energies would be stuck there. She can check it in the library, her local church (yes, believe it or not, they can be willing to share info, or at least she can try to feel the reaction of the local priest when she asks him about it, it could tell a lot). Towns archives also, a very good place to start. Locals. I dunno if she knows how to use crystals to find answers, i use mine when in a dilemma about grounds. Also, those three entities could as well be just one, but using different forms. First time it faded cause it was weak, second it came as a wolf (more strong) and last it was a bit violent maybe cause it is desperate and wants her attention badly.Italy, especially Napoli, has a long and sometimes very violent history. And you say entire area is heavily populated, I would really want to know why that field behind the fence is empty (does it have anything on it? a house? a warehouse? anything at all or just a plain field?).
It is a city as old as 3000 years, its crowded with legends, has A graveyard of bones of the poor people that died of plague.... Im sure that somewhere in the books (yes, blow the dust off :) ) she can find a hint to what lies there. Id dig it myself cause i find it quite interesting, but it would take me to know the exact area.

Research is her best start. All the places Nina mentioned plus, take into account what the older, long time residents say about legends of the area, more often than not there is some truth to it. Has all this occurred in the same building or at diffrent residences?
The only connection to the rescueing of the kittens I could possibly think of is that a resident energy saw this act of kindness & it was drawn to her for some reason. I wouldn't advise communication at this point but have her keep a journal of all experiences since that can help in finding answers. Does she live in the city iself or in one of the surrounding towns?

Oh yes, thats a good observation Countess, taking kittens could have triggered something, but why? Hm... this is really tickling my brain now :|

There are two good pieces of advice that will hold true to any paranormal event. The first has already been stated. Research. The other is documentation. Have her record the things going on. Believe it or not, I have seen these things stop all together just because someone is trying to record it.
Keap us posted, the more you can tell us the better.

Definitely don't dismiss the kittens as being part of something here. There are times when links are established between the paranormal and mundane. It's the same theory as spirits attaching to objects, except they or it has decided to use a living thing to strengthen the link, for reasons like communication. Be cautious, never do anything alone, and never do anything without a form of protection. I'd establish a spiritual link to someone or something just in case, as well.

There are all sorts of reasons the spirit or spirits could be coming to her, but Azzy is right. Tell her not to dismiss any idea or theory on the kittens just yet... and if any more events happen, that create any sort of unease, his point on creating a "link" to someone is a really good idea for safety. If you need more information on that, PM one of us and we'll give you instructions you can relay to her.
I'm more interested in where they were found...
But all in all, the advice about Research and Record is the best thing to start with, for sure. Always start with it, and continue it even if things become more intense.

Were all the kittens found in the same place? The location could mean just as much as the kittens thamselves. And I probably just repeated what Teteo said.

the nice thing about being in italy is that they're still a highly superstitious people and the research and reaching out to natives for help are excellent ideas, even if you end up with nothing more than some folk remedies and legends, it'll give her a starting point.
the roman church in this case would be helpful over there if the energies are becoming threatening, they're more eager to believe in the supernatural than other denominations it seems and most dominate in italy , but with them it'd go instantly to an evil infestation from the devil since they're really pushing this devil taking over the italy, we need more exorcists thing.
our instructor who runs the semester in venice program every year talks about Italy a lot, yesterday he discussed about how they're still proponents of the "sinister left hand." like he said, "a few smacks from a ruler quickly cures left handedness."

Are you saying that the catholic church believes that left-handed people are the work of the devil or something?

I can't think of any advise that hasn't already been brought up-by people far wiser & more experienced in this sort of thing than myself.If worst comes to worst, she could move or like Jordyn said, ask the church to help. But that's worst case scenario.
Now I know I'm not visiting Italy-I'm left handed & I'm pretty sure I'm not following the devil.
No need to get attacked over a hand preference. :-P

The left-handed thing is as old as the ancient Romans & spread through most of Europe. The latin word for left is "Sinestra" which became "sinister" & since left-handed people are a minority & anything diffrent has a tendancy to cause fear. This lead to the association between left-handedness & the devil. As for the church helping, unless she has access to a local countryside parish I wouldn't advise it. The Roman Catholic Church still steers as clear of the paranormal as they can. The benefit of a country parish priest is that they don't usually feel the thumb of the Vatican as strongly & tend to be more open to the reality of the paranormal.

Depends on the energy, really. Could be something perfectly natural ( the Earth making some changes in your area ), could be you're feeling the energy off of other people around you more because they're "excited" about something... What sort of "surges"?

This area gets all sort of strange things happening twice a year, one of them being Sept to Nov and the other being April to June. Soooo, it's really hard to tell if we're experiencing the same thing we normally do, or if it's something new.

Its like something reached out and touched me, first I felt like crap then I felt enraged and then I great like I was on fire, this is the 4th this has happened in 3 months, I'm not the only feeling these surges in my area, I live in Panama City Florida and i've bee told that there are other people feeling these surges as well. I dont like it, i've been looking into it and havent been able to figure anything out.

Nick, Im also in Florida & something is definately up with the energy here. I work in a veterinary hospital which happens to be haunted. The resident spirits have been making their presence known much more frequently & blatantly than ever before. The energy change has been felt by myself, my boss, my assistant, & nearly all our patients as well as my own animals. Something is definately out of balance.

Up where I live there are some pretty strange energy shifts going on, too. Not sure if it's a global thing, as I've been told it's about time the poles moved, but still. Very interesting.

Im geting the same things around here too. People that dont usually notice this sort of thing are noticing it. Thats somewhat normal for October but it seems more extream than usual.
