Title: Dragon of the Ishtar Gate
Post by: TeteoInan on September 30, 2011, 10:36:33 AM
David G Stone's article on the monster depicted on Babylon's Gate

"The depiction on the gate shows a long necked quadruped with scales, clawed hind feet, lion-like front feet and legs, a forked tongue and a horn on its nose (head?)"

Let's try not to reinvent the wheel, the name of the creature is actually Sirrush or Mushussu.

Its fully documented on the wiki.
