Title: Civil War Soldier
Post by: klokkn on February 16, 2010, 01:56:30 AM
When I was little, I used to go to my grandmother's house. Her house wasn't so much a house as it was a manor. a HUGE plantation manor. anyway, it had been used as a "hospital" during the civil war. upstairs the floor is stained red from all of the blood. turns out whenever a carpet is laid down, after a year or two it rots, the reason: blood soaking... also there was one window. i only remember this window because my grandmother had to re-paint the seal all of the time. after every summer the bottom would be drenched in a red stain (perhaps blood?). i was asleep in this room one night and suddenly i woke up. not with the "HOLY CRAP!!!! RUN!!!" feeling but the "shhh... wake up.... but.... don't move...." feeling. the temperature was freezing. i look over and in the doorway was an apparition. it was a confederate soldier, sliding himself across the floor since he had no legs. he reached up to me and vanished.
--- this is how i became so interested in ghosts and other apparitions... if anyone could tell me if they know anything about this particular case i would be indebted.

Thx,
Klokk

Would this house happen to have been the Warren House in Jonesboro, Georgia?

I think I sent you a message, Werebull about looking at the dates on topics and posts. This was posted in 2010, which is also when the member that started it was last online. I wouldn't expect a response.
