Hello guys, I’m back :). It’s been a while (I’ve been busy with study) and I see this place has undergone some changes… for instance ,Jake, how did you become moderator?; I’ve been tracking your thought process and I see youve got a statistical mostly scientific approach to this whole Demonology thing not that there’s an error here. However I recall Monstrous’s Forum slogan being “A safe haven for all monsters…” Not “A safe haven for all scientifically proven, statistically confirmed real monsters…”
Oh and Jake, I have proof of demons, if you are willing to risk an encounter with them that is…
I’ll explain in the new topic I’ll start watch out for it. Oh and this is by no means an attack or meant to be offensive, merely stating my view of things.

Good to have u back :)
And gotta agree on the Monstrous slogan part ;)

sadly idealism is becoming a dying philosophy. :/
-
yeah, well... id rather die as a silly idealist than anything else :D
-
i'll have silly idealist on my tombstone to.

I am willing to risk an encounter with demons. If someone would only just show me a way to encounter them close to (or preferably) 100% of the time.
-
and why would u want that? o.O
-
Because I would like to find out if they are real or not.

well, if that's the case...

and a whole lot of threads on this board and various other options posted in the book of shadows and pagan living section. They may not seem to be an avenue at first, but most of those practices can easily be utilized as an option to bring the "demons down" the more you dabble, the more you think and act like them, the more they'll feel welcome and invited...and the simpliest of all, play with a quija board or pendulum and open you psyche.

I have been playing with a ouija board, several times. Both alone and with my brother. Nothing happens. I've tried a few magic spells online as well, no results. Why is it so difficult?
-
because they are beings with choice, maybe you hold no significance to them or hell, they are opportunists and probsbly prefare one that might benefit them
-
quite simple, u lack faith....

nina could have a point...why prove anything too someone who just wants to see? They're not parlor tricks that perform on command.
Not even God or Jesus performed their feats to just anyone asking, start acting like them, surround yourself with discord and anger, fight a lot and become amoral.
That's why I'm now more fascinated by why some have it as simple as asking if anyone's there and other people just don't seem to have an affinity. What are you expecting? you ain't going to get any Supernatural theatrics, this isn't Winchester world...it'll be small at first until they've gathered enough energy and feel welcome. You have to make them want to come, what's there to prey on?
no energy, no food, no spirits...

I disagree with the label "statistical" - perhaps you mean "empirical"? I am of the opinion that skeptical scientific investigation of paranormal claims is the only way that they should be investigated. As CSI states, skeptics "encourage the critical investigation of paranormal and fringe-science claims from a responsible, scientific point of view and disseminate factual information about the results of such inquiries to the scientific community and the public." How else should it be?
However I recall Monstrous’s Forum slogan being “A safe haven for all monsters…” Not “A safe haven for all scientifically proven, statistically confirmed real monsters…”
I understand that the "safe haven" relates to the members here, not to Jabberwockys etc. As a good deal of people here claim to be demon hunters, this could hardly be called a safe haven for demons, could it?
Oh and Jake, I have proof of demons, if you are willing to risk an encounter with them that is…
I look forward to seeing the proof.
