When people talk of shifting on here, there usually talking about a mental/spiritual shift, we usually will indicate were talking about physical shifting, using terms like P-shifting...

For Me? It's a spiritual thing. The wolf is always a part of you when your a were, its always there underneath, but it takes over your soul and mind when you shift, you become more wolf than human, you ARE the wolf (as far as I know, P-shifting is impossible though). When I said I was a Blond-Furred Minnesotan Were, that's how I "see" myself when I shift, as a blond-furred arctic wolf (hence the username).

I'll let more qualified members answer your question, that's just my 2 cents

Your a wolf spirit, that's about all there is to it, underneath it all that's what I am. Its an all the time thing, but I'm more connected to my inner wolf at full moon. I feel more wolf-like than human-like, even in a normal-state. When I shift, my mind and spirit become the wolf, I am more at home in a Wolf form than a Human form. I've kind of known that this is who I was practically my whole life, though I discovered I could mentally shift to a wolf accidentally, I meditated on the wolf 4 or so years ago, like I read about online and I mentally shifted to an arctic wolf! I had thought I was just a Therian for years, but am actually a were...I've had dreams of being a were most of my life too, I just never made the connection until then...

i really find this all so interesting. i have a good friend whose spirit guide is a wolf, but other wise i've never met anyone who was a were, or a therian. i have to admit, i'm so curious because my whole life i have had a terribly irrational fear of wolves and have never been able to figure out why. i've hadd dreams about them as far back as i can remember, and they've been gruesome... so i'm sorry to pry lol

I don't mind, your not prying anyway. I've never met anyone else like me either, until I met my girlfriend

I've had dreams about running as a wolf, across the arctic tundra to this day, there are other wolves in my dream too, I don't know who they are though...really sucks when you have the alarm go off and have to get up for work the next day!

Nothing wrong with being human, so I just want to say to those of you out there who aren't werewolves and say you are to fit into something. Don't be sad about being humans. Remember who the best warriors and smartest animals on earth are.
If you really are a werewolf, then good for you be proud of that. But chances are you look like a human.
