More and more I have dreamed of possible future events. Until I dwelt on Other things like actual futures.
Had a dream about a friend being hurt or dying, and I was forced from my dream by the keepers of fate. I say this because that's all they did, I was shown a shimmering amalagaga and lion dogs with a pressure on me, but let up once I was out of the dream state. What I got from that was, that I was not to interfere. I had a dream and a winged man appeared and said,"The sons of Cain will fall and the sons of Seth will fall.", I got a chest caving in feeling and it wasn't pleasant. I knew my familiar was going to die before it happened, but was given only a small window of interference. All in all, I need to figure out how to rain on fate's parade.

The first thing that popped into my head after reading this was "Our fates are sealed, our destinies are what we make of them". Sorry if it doesn't fit with an anwer your looking for, it's just the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned on trying to alter fate. >_<

Hmmmm, I honestly wish I could help you, but The thing that popped into my head is the same as what popped into Elson's head... However, I'm sure there are ways to avoid, it but eventually it'll all come back to bite someone in the arse... >_<

Well I shall give you my view on fate. I do believe that fate is written in stone however, I also believe that humanity has the chisel.
What you are going to do has already happened in the future but you still get to chose now what you are going to do.
The only odd aspect of this is that someone knows what you are going to do before you do. whether it be god, the universe or even time.
You have all the choice and power but you also have already made the choice in the future so when the choice comes to you for analysis, you will have to understand it.
(Sound familiar? This is from the matrix, this is paraphrased but coincides with my beliefs)
If you like you may pm me there is a detail here that I have not shared on the forum. It is relevant to your issue but you have already made that choice as well.

I just say if it seems like something thats worth the risk to you, then go ahead and fight back. Remember that we do maintain some control of our dreams. I'm not saying you can control the "visions", but that you can attempt to fight back in your dreams.
