When people say they are 'psychic vampires' and they 'feed on others', isnt this just a case of these people  being sensitive to the energy movements in the company of other people ?

Compare this to relationships that are based on emotional dependence, needing to feel loved, having someone to care for.
Surely this is just a form of energy exchange between two people. Done conciously we call this tantra.

So whats the difference between tantric love and psychic vampirism?

Moloch

One involves an exchange between two mature loving people. The other is more a form of rape and only the attacker benefits.

So in the case of psychic vampiricism what does the attacker experience, and what does the victim experience?

What are the sensations involved?

Moloch

The vampire's experiences tend to be individualized; but usually it is an uplifting of the spirit, or feeling as though one were fully rested. The victim feels physically and mentally fatigued, sometimes dramatically so.

I'm not sure what the attacker experiences, however, a friend of mine is a psychic vampire and she'll occasionally feed from me. I can feel when she first starts and if feels like a pulling sensation. Not like a child pulling at your pant legs, or someone dragging you, but a pulling sensation, I can't really explain it. After that I just get very tired, and slowly shut down. Then I'll sleep until I've replenished what she's taken. I've only been fed off of by 2 people, and both had permission.

As I've stated before I'm not sure what the attacker feels but I am sure it is something like a re-energizing feel, or a refreshed feeling, or something similar.

So has anyone here willingly given or sent energy to someone that they knew?

If so what did this feel like?

I have willingly given it. :) It's definitely a different experience for everyone. The one in my previous post is what I felt when someone fed from me. Someone might say they felt something different, it might differ or it might feel the same.

In short, not pleasant, imagine splitting a milkshake where the other person sucks most of it down before you even get any.
