As psychic vampires, do you feel one or two donors feasible and effectient or having multiple donors that don't feel being feed on because it's so minscule and spread out?

Was inclined to believe that the ability to draw energy from multiple hosts (so that none of them feel drained) was one of the pros of being able to feed psychically. Also, that it was a reason for developing your feeding skills past that of a sanguinarian, who can only feed from hosts that know they are being used.

Yes, but some feel that is a watered down way, and choose to stick with just a few. But it also might be because of not filtering and refining it.  Or just laziness lol

Well, it kind of depends on how much energy is required for that one person. I have a friend that feeds from me occasionally (always with permission so that I can sit down before she starts and not get knocked off my feet) and she draws large amounts of energy. However, I have seen her also pull from multiple people at the same time. She prefers to pull from multiple people to keep things balanced and so they aren't completely drained.

She says that there is no difference between pulling from multiple, or from a singly host. It's all in the quality of the energy. If that person is already exhausted from the day, then they are depleted and the person feeding is getting the dredges that are left over, so of course it isn't going to be as good as someone who just woke up and is full of energy. (a note, I wake up and am not full of energy...)

I can understand how keeping up a larger number of connections to feed (because they're feeding on many many hosts) would make it feel more watered down.

I've heard of cases where pranic vampires who unconsciously feed seek out crowds and have fallen into all kinds of strife against the mental defences of strangers. That could be a downside, it might be difficult to find a large enough amount of people who you can trust to feed off.

I'm not sure if it's difficult, however, I grew up with my friend we've known each other since the second week of high school when we were both freshmen. When I literally ran into her... She actually just started to feed from me when I got out of the military... Then again, not talking for 4 years, and being awake for days on end would kind of stop the feeding... Lol, but she never seems to have issues finding people to feed off of...

And that's where the laziness comes in. I for one feed on multiple hosts, and filter it and refine it. Kinda takes more to process then what I'm getting, that's why I go for so many.

As a general rule, I no longer feed off of people, except at work. Considering where I work, I doubt anyone would care if I fed off of the scum of the Earth. On top of that, there is so much negative energy just floating around in there that it's like a miasma. At home and around the community, there are more than enough other beings, Shadows and all that, to feed off of. I generally just let the energy be absorbed at work, and out around town, I just work with a filter setup on an auto-draw basis. Since I feed almost exclusively on negative energy, I usually don't feed from humans in the community because most of them simply aren't potent enough.

Oni - Depending upon what kind of energy you prefer, there may be ways to tweak your system to make it more efficient. IM me and we'll go over your technique and see if we can't find a way to make it easier for you.

Here's a couple of questions for the vamps in this thread... to add onto what Oni posted. What's the highest number of "donors" you have fed from at once, or what is the single most powerful entity you have fed from?
